the guitar solo is great it sounds like it is crying you can feel the sadness in it. also the white horse reference is what heroin was called on the streets
One of the things that makes him so special as a vocalist is his ability to convey emotion. Hitting notes is one thing, but communicating an idea and a feeling is the goal.
By the track’s end he’s throwing his whole soul into the song. You can feel the weight of the experience listening to it. Really appreciate this deep dive into the band.
I’ve been listening to this song since it was first released and I get emotional every single time I hear it to this day. Amazing song…lyrics and performance!❤️
I’m so glad you decided to do this song! You can really hear his vocal range and passion.great song!!you should check out 18 and life and monkey business
Excellent reaction best song of the late 80s dude has such a voice and he pulls you in you didn’t pause not once you couldn’t and wow you have a nice voice also looking forward to more later beautiful.❤️😎🇺🇸
There are times when life just has you on auto pilot, and then there are songs like this that bring every emotion to the surface . I've seen reaction video where people listen to songs kinda just going thru the motions. But watching how passionate with every note you and especially to the music I loved growing up is inspiring. Has me listening to this album again. 🤘 BTW you have an amazing voice. 🤘 and new subscriber.
That’s Sebastian, one of the best rock voices ever. He even did Broadway, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Jesus Christ Superstar in the early 2000’s. You should listen to Quicksand Jesus, as someone else commented. It’s beautiful.
Everybody knows someone they've lost to drug and alcohol addiction. Whether it be actual death or as they said in the song, a person who's just a carcass searching for a soul. I've known this song since the album came out in 1991 and it and the video still hit me deep when I see/hear it.
"the horse stampedes it rages" hes singing about heroin addiction. This song is about Sebastian's long time friend Steven Adler, original drummer of Guns n Roses who struggled with addiction Adler is still alive thankfully :)
Sebastian Bach and Skid Row left you speechless! Great reaction. There’s still more great ones from Skid Row. “Youth Gone Wild” “Piece Of Me” “Monkey Business” “Slave To The Grind” “Can’t Stand The Heartache” although the last one has no video to it, but a great song regardless.
LIZZY HALE from HALESTORM filled in for the vocalist recently on SKID ROWs last tour evidently they were one of her inspirations check out some of her vids she rehearses singing while running on a treadmill to prepare for tours
You asked, who were the song writers. Written by: Sebastian Back, and guitarists Rachel Bolan, and Dave "the snake" Sabo. Not sure if you'll see my comment since the video was posted 2 days ago, but thanks for your video, and your thoughts about the song. .
I guess I’m old now I watched Skid Row…..when Seb was young and I will say this….his voice was on point and so strong….so strong. I used to think…because I sing, Sebastian better start taking better care of his vocals. Even then I thought this guy can really blast it out, but those type of notes that he hit with his voice and purposefully placing the growl and grit at that level would hurt his voice. I seen him sing 10 years later and he was still fine but… Not even close to the young Sebastian and that’s not a slam because I said he was great. All that touring especially when you do 300 days out of 365 at that level in the way he sang? It really hurt his voice over the years. Like I said… When I first saw him sing I thought I thought to myself… Wow, this dude is really something.
The 80's was a crazy time were there was too many great bands and you could not keep up with them all. While Skid Row was great, they didn't get the prace they should have because there was so many other.
"I Remember You" is the song that Skid Row is most well known for. Don't get me wrong. It's a great song. But, in my honest opinion, "Wasted Time" shits all over "I Remember You.' I generally prefer Skid Rows heavier songs. With that said, I consider this song to be their magnum opus.
Hi family. Do watch this to the end if you can to get the full impact 💜 . Like, comment subscribe. Let’s connect linktr.ee/mrspenpal
Knew you’d feel this one .. amazing vocals and performance . Deep lyrics , but Steven Adler is alive and doing well today .
the guitar solo is great it sounds like it is crying you can feel the sadness in it. also the white horse reference is what heroin was called on the streets

Your empathy is contagious. Thank you!

Sebastian Bach sings with so much power and emotion. Definitely the greatest rock vocalist of all time IMO.
By the track’s end he’s throwing his whole soul into the song. You can feel the weight of the experience listening to it. Really appreciate this deep dive into the band.
You have to do Monkey Business, In A Darkened Room, Quicksand Jesus and Slave to the Grind
THIS SONG IS DEDICATED TO FIRST DRUMMER OF GUNS AND ROSES GREAT FRIEND OF THE SINGER OF SKID ROW
We didn't know how lucky we were, with Sebastian Bach and Geoff Tate at the same time.

Argh if one had Sebastian Bach as frontman one should be able to take over the entire fking world !
You have a very soothing voice. Ever thought about doing ASMR videos?
Sebastian wrote it

The 80's was a crazy time were there was too many great bands and you could not keep up with them all. While Skid Row was great, they didn't get the prace they should have because there was so many other.
Judging by your reaction, I'd say the artist did his job.
He really did a number on me wow 👏✨

Let the song play geez
Ok it's getting annoying you wont let it play through and keep rewinding it during the song , so unsubscribing bye
