This is the best tutorial I have seen so far that explains everything and so well! Glad I came across your channel so have subscribed! Thank you very much for a awesome video! Liz 😊
I just bought the same product. I got it in yesterday. I haven’t used it yet and thank you so much for your video because it helped me to know what I need to do and trust me. I will be watching it while I’m doing my shirt. Thank you again.
I did 2 cotton shirts and they came out looking fantastic. One was yellow and one was turquoise. I love doing my shirts this way. I’ve also sublimated on the glass plates from the dollar tree.
@@crissycreatesofficial I hear'ya! I lost almost half a pack of the glossy film. Trying all the different settings as well. I am using the Thin paper setting but I think the colors could be a little brighter if I could print with a different setting. However, it is what it is and the 'Thin Paper' setting works.
I love doing the DTF printing- was a great game changer- - after application on to the shirt - you do the cold pull & then you repress it again - I didn’t see you do that - it helps it to get deeper into the fabric - great tutorial
It worked! Just need a few changes! I did high-quality plain paper ad hand a few lines. Going to remove high quality and see what happens. Thank you so much! Going to look at more of your videos.
I made one just to try for my daughter and we just washed and dried it and the colors came out great, didn’t seem like it faded at all, no cracking, ect… I was really surprised by it. It was also on a 100% cotton shirt
Thank you for this video. I have watched many of them, but you helped me realize I wasn't curing my powder long enough, and I also need a higher temp. I have a clamshell heat press as well. ❤
i have same printer and even though it is not sublimationconverted i had similar issue on some glossy paper, what worked for me without loosing quality of the print itself [changing to light weight paper was lowering quality for me] was setting ink density into -20 up to -30 ;)
Do you spray hydrogen peroxide on your bleach shirts after pressing to remove scorching? I’m wondering if spraying it on after the dtf powder will effect it in anyway. Thanks 😊 🇦🇺
Thank you for the video😊Quick ❓ Did you have any problems getting the sheets to feed through the rear tray? I have an epson eco 15000 & the same kit you used but it won't go through🤦Keeps saying that its jammed.
This is cool! I can’t wait to try! I noticed you used a white shirt and a bleached shirt. Does it have to be on a white/bleached? Or can you press on any color?
They have a black powder that you can use to apply on dark shirts. i haven’t tired that one yet bit with the white powder, it should only be used on white or light shirts.
I wasn’t aware that you can press directly to the shirt, all of the videos I’ve seen so far, they used HTV or Sublimation vinyl, but they also pressed to dark shirts so that may be why, thanks for the video!
Have you had any issues with Ironing afterwards? Seems like some color wants to come off with every iron session (even on warm setting). I don't iron directly on the image. I turn inside out with some paper (inside & on top) to protect other side of shirt but I still notice color on the paper afterwards....I haven't heard anyone mention this sort of issue in tutorials. I only iron when absolutely necessary but sometimes it just has to be done😩💀
Thanks for tutorial...you explain it very well. I tried this technique once and didn't come out for me but seeing your tutorial I think I will try again. Thanks again
Before you add your film to the heat press (curing the powder) close your heat press for 30 sec. To heat up the bottom. You will notice a huge difference in curing. I also apply powder twice. I apply, melt it, and then REAPPLY powder, melt it, and then apply to my shirt. But its important to heat up the bottom part of your heat press. I hope I explained this right and its makes sense.
@@crissycreatesofficialI have an 8550 converted for sublimation. Did you have issues with roller marks? And, please what all settings did you change? Only the lightweight paper setting? I’ve seen videos to check mark thick paper/envelopes and change the drying time and change the density and change that. Please what all did you change for 13x19. Are you able to print almost the whole 13x19? Read not as many issues with the smaller sizes of the dtf film and more issues with 13x19 but you said you like bigger designs so I’m hoping you can help me.
Thanks so much this information was VERY helpful...One question tho what is the name of your heat press and where did you get the pads from that's on it as well.
Hi! I am so happy you found the tutorial helpful. I actually purchased this press pre-loved from someone years ago. It came equipped with the pillows. I do believe you can find heat press pillows on amazon.
Do you have to have a sublimation printer? If so what kind do you recommend? I have a vevor heat press, would I use 360 or 400 on a t-shirt? Will you have some of the decals for sale until I am able to buy a new printer?
may I ask, is there a need to second press so seal and set it? like with most dtf products? I have ordered, because some say to do so and others don't.
That lightweight paper setting worked! Nobody else that I've watched over the past year has said that before. THANKS!!
This is the BEST video I have seen using the Yamation paper and powder!! Thank you SO much!!🥰
Thank you for the detailed explanation of DTF printing as well as the included videos! Looking forward to watching more

I have used other products but it seems more people are liking Yamation products. I'll be ordering this to try.
Thanks for all the videos!
It’s definitely worth the try! Thanks for the support💗

Thank you for explaining how to do this hack. I cannot wait to try it. So many videos leave me wondering how to do this.
I did 2 cotton shirts and they came out looking fantastic. One was yellow and one was turquoise. I love doing my shirts this way. I’ve also sublimated on the glass plates from the dollar tree.
You taught this very well. I had to do trial and error to get the right temperature. Thank you so much
Love it! I too have an 8550 and that Thin Paper setting was the only that worked for me too! thank you
Thank you! I’m so sad I waisted some sheets of film but that’s the cost of learning something new! Glad you enjoyed the video🥰

Thanks for making this video!
what setting do you use on your printer for the dtf.
How well do the shirts wash? I would love to know if the vibrance lasts. Thanks
Love ur videos.can u use a heat gun first for the first step
thank you for showing us.
Hi Crissy, can I use this DTF Film on dark colors? Thanks

I would love to see how it looks after normal wash and dry.

What printer do you have! I’ve been looking for a big eco tank printer
Can you move the film around on the shirt to adjust placement or will it smear? Do you wait till it cools to place it on shirt?

Tape it to a piece of copy paper will go through.
new to your channel, do your dtf film sound like it is crumbling when it goes through the printer
Looks so great! Thank you for sharing!
My pleasure 😊

Hi. Love your sublimation videos, but haven't seen any new videos from you for a year or more. Are you no longer doing videos?
Can you do this with a epson eco tank 2850

Where do you get the Teflon thing you have on it

How else can you heat the transfer? I have an automatic heat press and can’t hover it to heat the transfer. Is there another way?
Use a heat gun.
so for darks i cant use white powder ?
I did mines on a inkjet printer and it didn’t come out as clear that one maybe I have to invest in a sublimation printer instead

I did this with an ink jet printer. It works great but fades quickly.
If you search dtf hack with an inkjet printer you'll get some videos.
may I ask, is there a need to second press so seal and set it? like with most dtf products? I have ordered, because some say to do so and others don't.
I didn't being that the film is so thin and I could tell it was already well fused to the shirt.
Hi... wanted to know if the color faded after washed?
So far no fading has happened and I’ve worn and washed them a few times since this video. They’re holding up great.
Hey, is there a specific software you use?
For printing the designs
I just got this printer & sublimation ink & nothing is printing on the paper. Did you have any issues with the printer at first?
No I didn’t have any issues, I’m sorry
Didn't work for me half stuff stayed on the sheet.
How did it hold up aftet washing about 6 times
So far I’m at 2 washes but I can come back to this comment after I’ve worn them a few more times. So far they’re looking good still🥰
@@crissycreatesofficial Tgat would be great thank you
What kind of epson is that?
It’s an ET8550
but what about after a wash……thats where the issues happen
Sublimation??
