I think Porcha did a great job with her tutorial. The negative comments are BS. The hack works IF done correctly. You’re gonna make a mistake or two as you’re learning a new process. If you’re not sure about a technique then practice on fabric rather than t-shirts.
Good, easy to follow video. It’s short and to the point! Most people talk forever to get to the point 🤣🤦♀️. Thank you so much and your product is darling!!

@@ColorMePorcha I was thinking about your nails, yours are beautiful. even though I don't do them, I have working girls in the salon who do it, I can always recognize beautiful nails . Thanks in advance
Thank you Porcha for all the great information and the tutorial. I am just getting started and all your information was very helpful especially the information with WORD. I will definitely return for more content.
Hi Porcha, I am so glad I found you. You did such a wonderful demonstration and I will be purchasing some DTF powder to try it out very soon. I wish UA-cam would add the share images feature so that I can show you the finished product. Have a great day.
Hi Porcha!! I've been watching your videos for a little while now and I love them. they are very easy to understand and you get right to the point. and I have to say you are quite creative as I love the designs you create in Canva. I have a question for you - I converted my Epson printer to a sublimation printer. I noticed that your colors are incredibly vibrant and they pop! May I ask, do you have a converted printer or a printer for sublimation? If it is converted, would you share your printer settings or guide me to where I can find them? I even got the ICC code from Printers Jack (the ink I use), and my reds are still to orangy. I've tried everything....... I'm wondering if I need to bite the bullet and get a sublimation printer?......😝. TIA!!!😊
I have a question but before I ask it I must say this was super simple and love the design used. Not to mention tutorial was super simple. Now my question is when you buy design in Etsy can you sell it in your own shop? Or is that not allowed
Thanks! From my experience, each shop has their own rules. If they don't say in the description, which a lot do, you can message them for clarification.
Thank you so much for the helpful tips. My ink rubbed off my shirt. I believe it was because I used my inkjet printer. I will try with my sub printer tomorrow.
Nice video and a nice tip to put the tape on the film. I get black streaks on the film too many times, do you have any tips to keep that from happening? My printer only feeds from the front so that may be part of the problem. Thanx for the info.
Yes, you could. Because we're using sublimation ink, the same rules apply. Sublimation Ink works best on white and next light colors. So a lighter pink should work.
Hi Porcha! New subbie here. After watching this video and others, I decided to try this hack out. You seem to get some really great results. After much trial and error, adjusting cure temp and time, press temp and time, multiple times, I just can't seem to get there. My images are coming out grainy looking and/or cracking. I thought the powder wasn't melted all the way so I adjusted the temp and time for that. Didn't work. I followed the instructions to the letter that came with the Yamation kit, no luck there either. I am using the HTVRont auto heat press to cure and press. The platen on that press is about 2 inches from the press mat so I increased the temp and time for curing to make sure the powder was completely melted. And it was! Images still coming out bad. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong? I am using 100% cotton to test on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi there, love your shirt by the way, I'm quite new to this but I want to be able to create sublimation shirts and DTF shirts using this Hack, I was wondering would an Epson EcoTank ET-8550 be good to do this with and would i have to change the ink or can I use the same sublimation ink that comes with it?
I do have a question though, I'm thinking of creating my own t-shorts, I have the Epson ET8550, what software do you actually use to print your DTF transfers? I've been doing research and so far what I've been seeing is expensive, any suggestions?
But how do u print on dark cotton fabric with a design that has white or with a white color mixture cause we all know that dtf printers come with white inks and with white t shirt even if it is cotton and the sublimation printer does not have white inks it can work.but what about black t shirt cause the sublimation printer cannot produce white.will it still work ?
Hi Porcha, absolutely love this video 🙂.I dont have a large heat press only a small cricut one. When you put the powder on then heat would that be similar to using a heat gun for embossing powder, do you think that would work.
They Porcha new sub. And I love this hack & very beautiful image & color. But I had a question. What kind of printer did you use? I have an inkjet but looking into getting a sub printer. Thanks a lot ! ❤
I love your videos, you are very straight forward. My question is, I have a HP Envy 7640 Printer, so can I use this printer to print on the film paper?
Yeah those are roller marks and the lines can be worse with the more black in your design. I haven't found an efficient fix for this yet, I take a Q-tip and erase the lines where I can.
What temp did you use to melt the powder? I have tried so many times, wasted t-shirts, and can still not get it right. When I pill it, some of the ink pills off the shirt 😩
I let my heat source hover as close as possible with out touching the image at 320° for 90 seconds; Depending on how large your image is and how close the heat source is you may need more time. Also be sure to press twice and peel cold both steps are important. Best wishes ✨

What temperature of the heatpress when you cure it for 90seconds?

Heeeyyyyy! Porcha, OMG I didn't know you did this stuff...lol
hi i added the tape but image only prints on the tape section can you advise me as to what in doing wrong thank you
After you printed from the sublimation printer, did you have to allow some time for it to dry after it was printed?
Great, simple, practical and very informative video. Thumbs up Porcha 👍
Thanks Anthony!
HI, I loved it, thanks for sharing, I have a question, can I put the heat press on the image to cure?
You're welcome!
Putting the press directly in the image could ruin your design
I found a sugar glass sugar shaker at Dollar Tree for $1.25 it has larger holes and works well.
Fantastic video.
Thanks!
I have that kit but just haven't had a chance to anything with it yet. Hopefully this weekend. Those colors are popping!!

hi what do i do when my prints comes out with roller strikes from the image ink
Thank you so much for the helpful tips. My ink rubbed off my shirt. I believe it was because I used my inkjet printer. I will try with my sub printer tomorrow.
That is so cute!
This looks beautiful!! I love it💜 how does the sublimation ink do with DTF hack when washed? I know pigment ink does very well.
I'm going through the comments trying to find the answer to this question.
What a great video! May I ask what sublimation printer and sublimation ink you are using? Thanks again posting such a helpful video!
Absolutely gorgeous
Thanks 😊
Hey!!! This is so pretty! How did you prevent the pizza wheel spots? I always get little dots from the wheels
Thanks for the video. Silly question, did you put the tape on the glossy side as not to touch the ink?
Not a silly question, but yes that's the reason
Love your video! It's so easy to follow and understand, I am definitely trying this!

What ICC profile are you using when printing please?
Looks great thanks can it also be used on black canvas shirts? Thank you
Thanks!
No, I learned the hard way. This hack uses sublimation ink, which works best on white or light colors.
Hi Portia could i do this on a pink shirt or would i need white htv behind it x
Yes, you could. Because we're using sublimation ink, the same rules apply. Sublimation Ink works best on white and next light colors. So a lighter pink should work.
This was awesome! Hopefully you have a video for dark shirts
Hi Porscha
Please can you make a video showing how to place or set your camera for your videos. Thanks
Hi! Yes. I'm in the process of rearranging and purging my space. When I'm done I can post my camera set-up.
Awesome....What printer did you use to print the image on the DTF paper?
so does that work on dark colors also?
Love your work ❤
Thanks for the video. I have white spots on some areas of my image. Any idea what that might be from? Thanks
I haven't come across that yet, but if you figure it out, let us know😆
Thanks! Will do@@ColorMePorcha

Befroe the heat press will the glossy side be face up?
We print on the matte side, glossy side is the back
Hi Porcha, I enjoyed watching your video and will be trying this hack. What printer did you use?
Dtf film uses ink jet printer or sublimation ink printer?

Love this hack! Thank you for sharing your gems!!!❤❤❤I love watching your tutorials!!!💜💜💜1 question-what temp did you cure the transfer for 90secs?
Thanks!
320° with the heat source as close as possible to the image for approximately 90 seconds, could take more

How well do the colors hold up after multiple washings?
So far, it's held up very well; here's my wash test:

I usually remove it right before I melt the DTF powder

320° with the heat source as close as possible to the image

Thank you sooo much! First time it came out beautiful, thanks again!
You're welcome!
Where do you get your blank shirts from?
Hello!
My question: will this hack work on dark colors as well?
Thanks!
Hi! The short answer is no. You need different products to make the image show bright. I tried it here: ua-cam.com/video/1wmGej2XVTA/v-deo.html
my question is when you did the 2nd press, what were you using to cover the image? And, did you have to insert anything inside the shirt?
What kind of printer useing
The Epson EocTank
Please do a video on adding the texting canva?
Wieviel Temperatur und Sekunden verwendest du bei geliehen des pulver??
Does it wash out
Nope!
Here's my wash test:
ua-cam.com/video/piPZLudMTME/v-deo.html
Could you use a cricut heat press
Hi, can i use any sublimination printer like epson eko and get the results?
Yes, because it's about the ink.
Which fonts did you use for the lettering?
The font on top is Spring Whisper, and below is A Dripping Marker; I got them both from Dafont.com.
Cure for 90 seconds at what temperature?
I have a cricut press do I do the same just stand over it
Yep, make sure to add as much even pressure to as possible, for the best image transfer.
did you try this on a 50/50 shirt?? u think the washing will hold up
Didnt work for me. It only print on where the tape was at, but not the whole image. Any way to fix this?
Do you put the tape on the matte or glossy side?
The glossy side
Great video. Will follow!
Thanks!

Yeah those are roller marks and the lines can be worse with the more black in your design. I haven't found an efficient fix for this yet, I take a Q-tip and erase the lines where I can.
Did you put parchment paper inside the shirt?
Yes. I either used parchment paper or a Teflon sheet I don't remember at this point, but I do know I put something in there.
