Thanks for another great video! These help me cope. Just the sound of your voices makes me feel less isolated. While none of these signs apply to my situation, I must say the faucet analogy is spot on! It feels like he never cared and turned everything off just like that. The only sign he's aware I'm still alive is a honk or wave when he drives by, which is really nothing but him trying to get a reaction. I just ignore it because its confusing coming from someone who ended things so abruptly. Victoria is such a wonderful addition to these videos! ❤

My ex never “asked about me” but he would always send my best friend messages on social media like.. I’m glad you’re still hanging out with her, she looks happy, you guys have fun, be safe, etc when she would post pictures of us hanging out but would never contact my friend otherwise. She stopped telling me about it because I asked her not to talk to me about him. I’m trying to move on. As for the joint accounts, I made sure to separate everything right away after we broke up. I didn’t want any attachments to him. It’s been almost 9 months post breakup and 5 months NC.

My ex has started NC for 1 month and I am going crazy. I expect the NC to last 6 months or more as I had neglected her, refused to listen to her advice for 7 months. What about when they delete your photos off of Facebook? She deleted everything that had me in it. She left vacation photos that we went on as long as I wasn’t in them. It ripped my heart out and makes me want to break no contact so bad. Thoughts?

My ex hid the person from me. I found out and called her out on it. We talked. She keeps telling me she never ruled us out of getting back together and doesn’t know what the future holds. She is not posting this guy and isn’t telling ANYONE about him, not even her family. Yeah, I did that AFTER I heard about her sleeping with someone FOUR DAYS LATER and then getting into another relationship. So no, I did not move fast like you. It took ALL THAT for me to start talking to someone else. Not the same. She was slightly jealous in my opinion.
My ex had our photos up on her FB profile for a couple of weeks after our breakup, and she is a daily Facebooker, yet now they aren't there anymore. She went and had a rebound, and now is in another relationship, all within 20 days.

I have an ex who, while we dated, paid a subscription to a sports magazine for me... personally i never cared to read it, even though i like sports. 2 years after breaking up with me and still dating the girl he cheated on me with... i still get the magazine... he pays for it... i throw it in the trash everytime. He can stop paying any day and i would not care. I would think if you were wanting to move on with the person you left for maybe youd quit paying for subscriptions for your ex... 🤷♀️
My ex doesn’t post much to my understanding. Last year I went no contact. It lasted 4.5 months before she sent me a regular phone text of her kissing her now new supply. I waited a months later to discuss something issues pertaining to the kids. She bright it up. And I told her I haven’t received anything. What was it about. She said not to worry about it. It can be emotionally exhausting because of the FUD. What you need to do is go full NC and do not reach out to him unless he’s serious about fixing the relationship. Make it clear to him not to bother you unless he’s serious about fixing the relationship. Make it clear that your time is too valuable and that you will eventually close the door.

Interesting… my avoidant ex (on all 4 breakups over 2.5 years) has not once, blocked me, left shared Spotify playlists, stopped following me on Strava or deleted pictures from shared albums (that what I usually do lol😂 - but not this time. I’ve been very grown up about it and after a slow start, now in NC). She has kept all the romantic gifts and plants that I’ve given her and even a soggy (the card not my poetry ;-) ) poetic hand written valentine’s card that became all smudged and bleary after water was spilt on it. Kept it all. But as someone else has said, why put up with all the crap that avoidant type dish out to good people?
What if my ex still has pictures up that don't have me in them, but they are from moments of when we were together and she is wearing some gifts that I gave to her? Some of the captions on them even mention the topic of being in a relationship with me. The pics were from 2019/2020 and it's been one year since I've been dumped (6/1/20) and she still hasn't gotten rid of them which seems very odd to me. I know she didnt want to end things. Her issues with trauma from her last relationship and her subsequent avoidant tendacies from that made her pull away a lot of times, and made me anxious as hell 😂... she felt like she needed to end things as id always question the commitment when she done things that seemed cold.
Went no contact, then i stupidly broke it after 2 weeks and she said i need to stop messaging her (with a crying emoji) and lone behold she messqges me christmas day. I gave her relief in sayong im open to talking, now havent heard anything for a few days. If we can both work through our trauma and heal i yhi k we will be back together. But only if the healing is done, i cant carry on in the anxious avoidant cycle.

He will randomly send a pic of what he’s watching on tv… but all other dialogue is extremely cold & distant. I reciprocate the same energy back. What if she deleted all our photos in her Soc Med accounts, even changed the status, and other stuff that reminds her of me? When she broke up with me, she told me that she still loves me and that she needs enough time and space to breathe because we both have personal issues that made our relationship toxic, and she even told me to wait for heal to heal, and she even kissed me on our last meeting. So why does she have to delete all of those? Does it mean she got over me that easily? Or she's just pretending? It's only been 9 days since we broke up.

Ok so my ex has been super confusing and I've had one moment he loves me then I can't have anything. Then he wants friends . Then sex. And it's I just wanted you be happy. And he has a lot of communication issues and he knows it. He keeps telling me that it's not a good idea if we date again.

@@annmiller148 hey! This is going to sound like tough love, but you might need to stop seeing your ex and switching between being intimate and friends and then him backing away. Questions to ask yourself? Is he gaining from this 'relationship', what are you gaining? Do you really want to get back together? Is it a good idea to get back together? Are you happy? Why/why not? Why did things end? Why does he want to end things currently?
It sounds like it's confusing both of you, and usually it's not best to give him anything e.g. emotional support and intimacy, before he gives you a commitment e.g. a stable relationship, friendship etc. Maybe you need to have a proper conversation with him to see where you both are at.
