    When I saw the car going through the car wash I though oh no but fair play you did a great job with the claying and the polisher what a difference, I’d never take my car through a car wash it puts so many scratches in the paint

      New cars need detailing to. There are still results just smaller and cars paint isn’t perfect coming from the factory.

      New cars get new car prep services because dealers pay some kid 12 dollars an hour to wash and detail as many cars as they can. Simply put they swirl the crap out of brand new cars. Hence people like me telling them DO NOT TOUCH MY CAR.

    I commented on another one of your videos on this truck but I still think it's so neat that this truck got lucky enough to be bought by you. I'm sure the kids who left the note asking you to take care of her would be overjoyed to know that you're not only doing that but you're referring to the truck by her proper name. Keep it coming!

      I keep rewatching this video over and over again and keep coming back to this heartfelt comment. I don't know why but it makes me so emotional. Tahiti is in such good hands and I know those babies would be overjoyed with all the love she's getting.

    I inherited a 2003 GMC Yukon SLT that now has 71,000 miles on it and it has every option and you and the people telling their stories about the model they own, has inspired me to put more money in for upgrades,to get some body work done besides just focusing on just the mechanical side.

    Man, I just found your videos, after searching for direction on a front end rebuild, I already did the shocks and air compressor. My ebay pimp kit is in the mail, I'm doing everything you're doing. 03 Yukon xl denali 208k. I'm glad I found this channel, I've had the truck for 3 years @160k, finally doing needed maintenance and upgrades to make the big b*tch last.

    Love your videos!! Nothing is more satisfying than resurrecting a nice used car. Two products you might like for regular maintenance are Meguiars D15601 Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax after every wash and HD Speed All in One, for periodic polish/wax. You'll be able to keep the freshly detailed look for a very long time! Keep the content coming.

    Samcrac taught me a cheap claybar trick. You can use plumber's putty just like you would use detailing clay, but it's only 1/10 the cost of detailing clay. You dip it in soapy water and get busy.

  • @johnrosado9245
    @johnrosado9245 5 років тому +3

    FYI- you don’t throw away clay bars after one use. They can last you many years. You have to determine how bad it is and maybe swap it for only wheels then trash it. Cool video

    I would HIGHLY recommend the Speed Clay. If you drop it on the ground, you can just wash it off and continue. Once detailer's clay is dropped on the ground, it's ready for the rubbish bin.
