- We got the new heart for the 1996 Toyota 4Runner project! This 3.4 5VZ has half the miles compared to old one, but she still needs some work. We made it pretty and replaced the old valve cover seals at the same time.

Don't forget the rear plug seal on the camshaft, remove half moons and reseal also the oil cooler o rind and rear main seal
I’ve been using the wife’s Dawn Powerwash when cleaning the 22r in my 85 2wd pickup. Works great . Smells great too.

Looks good man just a thought why not hit the yota emblem on the intake with that silver/blue color to give it some contrast instead of just being black...looks good either way 🤘
Funny you say that. I painted the emblem to match today! In fact if you look closely at the thumbnail it's painted.

Please post more of this build currently doin the same with a supercharged 03 5vz, plan to put it in 93 pick up. Did not know the harness would need to be swapped on the engine?
