Appreciate this video. Just bought a 98 4Runner and this video helped a lot. Thank you.
Glad it helped
Excellent video. Helped me out tremendously. Thank you so much.
Looking forward to your next video 👍😁
Well done, and great job explaining all of the steps. And, as always, thanks for taking time to detail out the parts you're buying and tools you're using (I just got some of those hose pullers myself (Harbor Freight), and they work pretty well). I feel a little less intimidated to tackle this job when the time comes. BTW, I could have sworn I saw the Speedy Sport Runner out and about earlier this afternoon while I was out in my red 3rd Gen. Looked exactly like yours, but I think it had a U.S. flag decal on the rear windows, so maybe not. I believe I'm not too far from your neck of the woods if I saw your plate correctly in a previous video. Thanks, again! Enjoying this series and have used your older videos on projects as well.
Just finished passenger side of my 2000 Tacoma, I actually found the same paint, cleaned cover and put it back same day. I didn’t have to remove throttle body but it makes it tight and the plastic wire harness thing was already broke the one by injector, which may have given me more room. I just wire it as high up off valve cover as possible both ends and could reach everything. I did go the cheap way with Stone from Japan gasket set, I think they make Nissan gaskets. I’ll see how they work, everything they seems good except maybe the plug/bearing thing.
The metal components many people replace as done here is a great idea if one's got the dough right go for it. Personally here in my neck of reality things(plugs & caps) made of metal of any sort are going to be exactly the same as the day they were installed at the factory, just clean thoroughly and reseal. I can't for the life of me imagine how something like those would ever need replacement aside from some Trevor digging them out with a screw driver or chisel lol. Yeah I just replace everything rubber wise and seal it up well, should be golden.
Watching now (because SW is just running FEA in the background on the latest rotor design)
Link for hose removal pliers shows a different product those used in video. Link for correct one please.
Do you happen to know the Torque specs for the TRD super charger?
Not off hand. Should be able to find them on Google though.
Was the supercharger worth it?
That sc is way lighter than the IHI in our cars!
OH man yes, SO easy.
You gonna do knock sensors while your in there?
Mine haven't given any issues. If it ain't broke don't fix it is my motto. Easy enough to get to them if they have problems down the road. 20 mins for me.
bn trabajo
Gracias
