    Hydrodipping this GSR valve cover in carbon fiber with a red tint.
    We used a epoxy primer, VHT high temp spray paint, Duplicolor red high temp tint spray paint, and automotive clear. The results are well worth the brutal prep work. Thanks for watching!

    That’s be best looking I have seen a hydro dip carbon fiber look. The clear and tint really makes it look like carbon at least in the video.

    Red metalcast is my go-to for turning amber sections of stock taillights to red for a cleaner look.
    Throw some clear over it for protection and it'll still have an amber glow when illuminated.

    For anyone with money and no wish to scrub, send them off to get vapor or bead blasted first. Great quality results.

    I simply love your hydro work. Like I said before. ASMR for car guys. The random shenanigans stuff is really good as filler when you are waiting for parts or just need to clear your head to get the creative juices flowing again. Looking forward to le'Roy being finished.

    The level of satisfaction i get just from watching this process is difficult to express lol. And the final look of that rocker cover is just absolutely sexy as hell 😍💯🔥 only recently did my saab valve cover in wrinkle black, but next time that cover comes off, it's getting stripped and dipped just like this! Absolutely stunning job mate!

    I've used blue metal cast over gun metal on a set of wheels. came out just like the electric blue volk offers. Looked absolutly amazing

      You can also spend a few dollars on a small wire brush piece of sand paper metal scrubby cheap cleaning chemicals you don't need a 100 dollar or more electric drill that just makes it easier you don't need those expensive wire brushes on the drill either it just makes it easier and all mechanics have them it's just completely necessary

    Great how-to. Gives brands of what you use. In depth but not to long-winded. So what if things aren't finished, ppl need to feel like something needs to finished. But a mixed in fun shenanigans video is cool too, from the build vids. Lower Jeep...who does that, cool as hell.

    That looks so rad man! I love vht paint as well. I did my LS swapped 2k civic in blue and it holds up great! I used aircraft paint remover and the old stuff came off quick and clean.
    I have always loved hydro dip projects and can't wait to try it for myself. I'm going to have to build a tub to save money.
