Chipping is "putting with loft." Brilliant. I've watched hours of chipping tutorials that micro manage every aspect of the process. This analogy sums it up perfectly. Thanks!
Thank you. I practiced and used your eyes on the hole approach during my round. It made lag putting so much easier. Also used the putting with loft tip. Scored my lowest of the year (79) with 32 putts.
Putting with loft ! Excellent. Any thoughts on shots from 50 - 100 yards ? I’d like to work on a go to technique from these distances. Keep up the good work. p.s hit 7 greens in reg last round, shot 81 of the stick. 2 x 7 = 14…95 -14 = 81… Mind blowing stuff.
I've got a Bushell rangefinder - is there a way I can use that to determine how far I hit my irons? I've got access to a small practice fairway but not a Trackman-type device...😢 Thanks Will 🎉 PS. this was a terrific video !
Great information. When I practice putting I use four balls. One is my target, like your tee and three are to practice with. I never tack the same putt as I either move a practice putt at a different length or from a different direction. Both ideas free up a lot of space on the putting green when it’s busy. Thanks for the video.
I’ll do practice drills while putting to put pressure on me. Also I play from the front tees a lot. I’ve shot below par a bunch and when I’m playing tournaments and I’m in the money on the second day I don’t choke because I’ve practiced scoring low.
This works for me to keep me in the present moment. I ask "Is it possible that I could have a good finish to this round?" It's a question that will get you in a very neutral, present-moment state of mind. I then ask "What do I need to do to give myself the best chance of doing that?" This question will get me focused on doing the things that have worked to this point rather than worrying about future results, which increases tension. Hope it helps. 🙏

Putting with loft--what a game changer. The reason I say that is because no one is intimidated at the thought of putting. It's so easy. Thanks Will.

How to handle the last role nerves you know your close to reaching your scoring? Trying to break 85 for 18 and 40 for 9
