- Paintless Dent Removal is a method of removing minor dings and dents from the vehicle bodywork without the need for filler and paintwork. This is a highly skilled process in which the dent is massaged from the rear of the panel or sometimes from the front using glue pulling methods.

Hi everyone, as promised here is my latest video, it’s a collection of 3 dents on the tailgate of a Hyundai i3, I really enjoyed this one even though it took quite a while to film and edit, hope you enjoy it!
Hello sir this tool is come price
Yah toll hamen Kaisa milega
My phone number please call me
How much total time and if possible how much for each stage..great video
Another great repair broham ..
Now there’s someone who clearly takes great pride in his work. Very impressive repair 👍
Mark Herring true .Quite admirable.
What a shame the driver won't even appreciate it as she pulls away and has another accident, lol.
@@ArcanePath360 most people wouldn't appreciate it, so he can't charge for it, which is why his business will never grow that big 😆 ...unfortunate.
@@knifeyonline Agree, there are some exceptions to this. For someone like myself that has a collectable that doesn't want any respray these techs are worth every cent. It's just a matter of finding the right individual like on this video to do the work. He's really got it together.
@@knifeyonline yes, because PDR guys and companies make peanuts, 🤡
I've learnt so much from UA-cam. I have fixed a tumble dryer a fridge freezer and much more. So, when my daughter managed to put a nice dent in my KIA Soul I thought 'no problem UA-cam is your friend' I watched some very informative videos - especially this one - and took it to a professional to fix it!
I agree. I put a new air conditioner compressor clutch im my car today after a youtube/ebay collaboration, all the while looking at a small dent im my bonnet. Look up "father ted car repair" to see what would happen if i attempted to remove that dent.
That’s awesome! I’m sure you might have thought of this, I think you should get with a machinist or an engineer er both to design a small machine to bump out those extra small dents.
I thought you was going to say you fixed it yourself!
Brian Pricelol
Hahaha. I learned how to change oil on UA-cam.
I'm 27yrs collision technician.these guys still amaze me. It looks easy on UA-cam, it takes a very special talent to do this.
anyone whos ever tried this will tell you it is near impossible if you dont know what youre doing
He’s not giving away any trade secrets here... the real key is the patience, skill & attention to detail that most people just don’t have. Great work.
Most people could not develop this skill. Would take a lot of time to learn it. Plus you have to buy the tool's. Could be $1,000 or more.
Anybody can do it. Just got to be willing to learn and keep trying. Start on a junk car. put some dent's in and go to work. All the best.
Infamous EJ Yea I agree there are so many disciplines you have to master when doing stuff like this. They can give out all the trade secrets they like because there is no shortcut to things like this . This video doesn’t tell show you the part where half way in you do your repair and then sand through the clear coat after all that hard work. 😂. As I said there’s no substitute to doing something and messing it . That’s how we learn from mistakes.
hmm glue pulling seems like a trade secret to me, i've never heard of it before , the only stuff i knew was using glass handling suction cups to pull bigger dents, and i used that to "fix" a dent in the back left door of my car, it's still quite visible but at least ppl don't notice it until i mention it .
He kind of is though. He's showing exactly how to do it and with what tools. Haha
This man understands how to move metal around in increments of fractions of a millimeter. That's some skill!
You're wrong he only knows how to move you're brain around
Great Video. My Grandfather was a bodyman in the 1950's, 60's, and 70's. A classically trained you might say, before the "just replace it it's cheaper" era. It is great to see that real skill has returned. I watched him do "impossible" things, you just wowed me sir and reminded of him. Much respect, and thank you.
Thanks, I'm glad it brought back happy memories, yes back then there were some amazing skilled engineers and technicians, so sad that a lot of these skills won't be passed on to future generations. Thanks for watching and for your comment 👍
So good my friend ! My grandfather was a "bump and ding man" for Packard, Briggs, and Ford. He had a whole assortment of round metal doo-hickeys that he could reach around each side of the body and tap out the dents. He was very talented, and now I have seen him through your work ! As St. Francis of Assisi said: A laborer works with their hands, a craftsman, with their hands and head, an artist, with their hands, head, and heart......... you are an artist !
Definitely an Artist! It not only shows in your PDR work but also in the filming and editing of your videos. 👏
I was born with a bendable Johnson
Unbelievable. The patience required to do this and the skill, this guy is truly a master.
This guy makes this look easy, He's very skilled!
Absolutely amazing! It‘s 4 o‘clock in the morning and I watch 3 dents in the tailgate of somebody elses car disappear. Good work.
Edit: and 3 days later I have tried this on my BMW Z3! One of the previous owners had something in the trunk and closed the lid on a part sticking up. So there was a 2 x 3 cm area sticking up about 3 mm. I used a stick made out of a white Ikea Nylon cutting board that I shaped into a point. I used my wooden mallet to tap that and lo and behold: following what he has shown in this video I completely evened my tailgate out! I had goosepimples when that nasty dent was gone!
Sometimes watching a video at 4 o‘clock in the morning can have unforeseen results! Thank you for the inspiration!
Yea! That is the way to do it - just... DO IT!
What is the worst that can happen? It is just a car and it will drive fine even if you would have a larger dent after you tried fixing it.
LOL! 😆 I just finished watching and it’s 3:58 AM! LOL! 😆
4:26a.m. im amazed and want to try this my daughter and I just got hit by a deer while on the highway( he died) but left my daughters car with a big dent!!!

More like an pro art than a trade. Worth every cent. How anyone can thumb this down is ridiculous.
I love the way you take the time to explain your procedure and the fine line you need to skate so you don't go too far.
90% of body shops wouldn’t be so accurate like him real good job looks good
I paid to have one fixed that looked better as a dent
g you have to understand one thing in life. There is only 2 types of people. People who can and then there are people who can't. I do paint and bodywork and only trust one guy in my area to do PDR. Understanding sheet metal is very important. Every dent has highs and lows.
for that car in the video, i wont bother fixing it, its a no frills car, if it were a more expensive or rare car then i would have a pro fix it, but a car like the on in the video, fixing it is a waste of money and his time.
@Automobile Addict we fix some pretty effd up dents at my shop, instead of replacing llf
Automobile Addict I’m an auto body apprentice we constantly fix 2018 and 2019 cars with filler, lots of metal work you’re an idiot, can repair aluminum too cars too
Love that you have the camera and fast forward as you tap things down... it's nice to see the progress on how this works. Too many videos do NOT show this and it's awesome to see how you do this process! Wish I could do PDR. Definitely a skill! Awesome job!
Thanks, yes the video would be far too long if I showed the whole repair in real time! Thank for watching and for your comment 👍

As always Jake, I am so impressed with your videos. I know you go to a lot of work to make these, and it is evident. I do like your teaching segment, and as someone who enjoys watching experts at work, I like knowing some of the theory behind the practice.
Thanks George for the positive feedback, I should also do a section at the end where I show the 100 takes where I get my words messed up too! 🤣
I really appreciate when someone really loves their work and has achieved an incredible level of skill.
My Opinion: Best Tutorial I’ve seen on Paintless Dent Removal.
Been a body man for 35 yrs, You don't see many PDR guys like this. Nice work buddy!
Thanks Mike!
Patience and precision involved in this process was just amazing.
Great to see "old school" attention to detail and a healthy amount of skill thrown in too .
Great work Sir
Holy crap that's a art form. Your skills are like an artist.
This is where Repair becomes an Art. Exceptionally good. Patience is a virtue.
Yep so impressive. If all teachers were like you, anyone could learn anything. Applying it would only take the rest of one’s life. Thanks for sharing your skills.
Brilliantly made videos. Well edited and presented
Regardless of their trade its great to see someone who is clearly a master at what they do.
Thanks for sharing your passion and skills
Hello. This is simply an amazing video in all its respects. Finally a complete pro video with all steps included. Great angles, audio, explanations, etc, etc. I sincerely thank you for your kind work and dedication. Please keep them coming, we are watching!!!
Thank you, sorry your comment ended up in in my spam section, yes these videos take a lot of work but I enjoy making them. the best thing to do if you want to get into PDR is to book yourself on a course or maybe start with some online training. I wish you all the best, thanks so much for watching 👍👍👍
Jake, awesome creation.
It is clear that that you are both a craftsman and an artist.
Incredible.
Your diligence, patience, conscientiousness, skill, artistry and pride are evident in the way that you approach your craft. I would also like to say that the production value of your video is excellent as well. Smooth edits, great music choices. Great lighting and audio and video transitions.
I gave you a thumbs up. 👍
Wow!! That is truly amazing workmanship! I would have never thought anything like that could be reduced let alone completely removed! Very informative and entertaining! Thank you for sharing your craft!
By far the most professional step by step of the process video I've seen in the dent repair world
Thank you, I really appreciate your comment and thanks for watching 👍
that was actually straight up incredible. the video was well done, I liked the cut away where you go over the steps, and the before and after. everything about this video was done correct.
Having watched a couple of your videos, I believe that if there were a human embodiment of Photoshop, you would be it.
Brilliant work.
I'm a programmer by trade and definitely admire what you do!... You are an artist with fine detail!... Thank you so much for showing people how this is all done!... Many don't give away their secrets, but I have always believed it helps the legacy live on! Thank you once again!!!
Thanks for your comment, being a programmer also requires a lot of patience as I play around with Arduino quite a lot, so you would probably be good at this. Regarding secrets, when I first learnt everyone was so secretive and wouldn't show me anything but it just made me more determined to find out the information. Have a great day! 👍
After watching a few of these videos, I am impressed. I had a minor incident on a motorcycle a few years ago where the turn signal dinged the tank in a fall. The body guy that "repaired" it using similar methods (by similar he was using similar tools) caused more damage than the original fall. This is fascinating to watch.
During my teenage years, this required drilled holes and body filler.
Yeah! Who would ever have thought that you could just tap out the dents like this guy. Just love his work I could watch it all day
@@grantperkins368 Agreed. It is mesmerizing.
@@rustyshacklefordspocketsqu8162 I've always cut the guy a bit of slack because the bike had a narrow tank and a matte gray paint job. It could not have been easy for him.
But at the same time, it is such a contrast to what this metal magician does.
Dude seriously...you have some mad skillz...respect from this UA-camr...
Sadly the thumbs up are limited to one... Tremendous patience and amazing results.
I'm truly impressed by your fine job Sir!
Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback 👍
Outstanding work, brother. Love watching a true craftsman work.
That was amazing! I had no clue this kind of work was possible without painting! Simply impressive!
Finally, someone that like what it does and can explain the physics behind it. I got some other tools to fix an ugly multiple dents on my Mustang. It's on a rear panel but I will apply most of what you did in this video. Thanks for sharing and of course your time to put this together.
Some people just have what it takes! EXCELLENT work!

This video popped up on my timeline. Watched it through, and was amazed at the final result. Great video, great job 👍🏼
I’m impressed this guy takes pride in his work! I’ve known body shops where all they do is sand, bondo and paint. This guy does it without all that. I have a dent on my truck and will see how the body shop will deal with my dent.
Amazing , just like all the other jobs! Congrats!
Phenomenal job. I was like "Yeah dude good luck with that crease" and 10 min later my jaw dropped.
Over 10 years ago I probably would have looked at it and thought the same, sometimes you have to test yourself:-)
I didn't realise dent pulling videos were a thing until this was suggested by UA-cam. Just amazing!
Yes, UA-cam even suggests to me stuff that I wouldn't normally watch!
I have no interest in body repair ,but I find these dent removals amazing,it seems being able to “read”the panel damage and plan the attack is key.

I have been in auto industry for many years 30 years to be exact and worked with many dent removal people, they would give up or refuse to fix the dents you fix or if they do them, the job will be so ugly, you have to do body work. It happened many times, very frustrating and they expect pay. Your work is great and I wished I had access to you and pay what you are worth. You are truly an artist in your profession. Too bad I am in the states.

Bondo bandits aren't working, so they are hating! This is nice work.
I completely agree. Top notch repair, explanation and videography. Must be some seriously disturbed people to give it a thumbs down. Negative minds see the world negatively no matter what.
I'd say they gave it a thumbs down because of the skill required and perhaps the need to buy specialist tools and consumables. People look for a simple miracle cure .... why? Because a bit of hard work frightens them. This was an awesome vid and with a bit of patience and minimal expense, the average guy could probably achieve it with the help of this vid. 👍
Beginning of video: Cool - maybe I can take out a dent myself...
End of video: aww, hell no I ain't trying that...

Only that guy is.. . Maybe if I watch the video 10 more times !
I've seen some guys do this irl, they're very fast and I bought a kit and have had a go myself, some success, some not so. I found I was doing heaps of glue pulling attempts per dint, it's good to see here that it's normal. It is very time consuming. I'd say he makes it look faster than what it really is. Those dint pusher rods are something I'll have to look into as well, I've only current got pulling and hammering tools. This video is great at showing the different types and when to use them.
Yeah for a minute there I was thinking... hmmm I can probably do this myself, I'm sure Amazon has all that stuff... and then I snapped out of my delusion. This is an art and it takes years of experience.
