Sorry it’s been a few weeks, I’m back in the flow again now so more videos to follow!
@LAST CALL I don't use a thermometer, I just heat it so that it's slightly hot to the touch, you just want the paint to be slightly soft so that it has some flex:-)
@LAST CALL I don't believe so, You can get certified but it's not essential. As long as you are set up as a proper company with the right insurance policies in place etc, you are good to go. Maybe some insurance companies or car dealerships may require a certification but I don't do work for any of those organisations so wouldn't know.
How can I buy tools?
@@user-ct7fh1zm1b There are some links to tools in the description:-)

This guy is amazing. What a technician. If I lived near you, I'd be a loyal customer. Fantastic job with this. It really is an art.
Thanks! 👍
I don’t know which one is better, your dent pulling skills, the way you educate on dent pulling or your video editing skill. Super high quality video. Thank you.
It's so nice to start the day hearing some good positive vibes. Thanks so much for watching and have a great day 👍👍👍
Exactly my thoughts good at the work but equally good at filming his work skills
29 dislikes came from body shop owners...
This is such an underrated profession. The skill, time and care that goes into this. Good stuff.
Yea it is
I'm a welder and I never even knew about this kind of trade wrk its interesting
I start every video thinking "this can't just be pushed out and tapped down." I end every video wondering exactly what I saw happen.
Jake, that was beautiful as always. Thank you for sharing your skill.
I had someone remove a dent on my car door and was amazed how great of a job he did. You did a incredible job on that repair Buddy, excellent!
All I can say is Wow! That is incredible work, you sir are an artist. Many compliments, great job! I didn't even know that was possible to do.
At the dealership I worked on the outskirts of Chicago in 2003, the manager of the dealership had such an eye for any body with that was done in any vehicle back then. He could just tell on sight if there has ever been damage and what have been done to fix the damage. This woulda given him a run for his money right here. Very nice job!
Thanks Keith, yes would have been good for him to cast his eye over this car to see if he could spot anything!
@@1st_track_dents I thought I saw a faint trace but it could have been a reflection, so I retracted the comment. this was an outstanding repair. the crease was on a sharp curve of the body, and it's near impossible to remove dents like that, so pretty legit work my man!
@@1st_track_dents what really impressed me was your eye to see and work on all the highs and lows so well! You have eagle vision lol
Incredible skill. Great watching a professional.
Beautiful work and love the presentation!
Hi Jake, you got it again friend !! how good you are back! What I like about your videos is that you always make repairs without using rare and complex tools to get, you use common PDR tools and they are perfect, please keep uploading friend videos. Greetings from Mexico ✌️
You my friend are absolutely amazing. Good one on you. Most guys today just drill some holes and pull the net and fill it wood putty. But you sir are true Craftsman.
Fella, you are exceptional at your job... Masterclass IMO...!!!!
Amazing job and info video, Jake, as always!! 👏👏
Amazing result, as alway Jake!👍👍

Jake you and I are very close in the same style. This is my 26th year in PDR here in Alabama and you've helped me a few times with caps and tips and now looks like I'll be getting a Dapper Tapper. Great job as always. Enjoy your day now.
Thanks Terry, Hope you're busy over there:-)
Simply awesome Jake. You are the master . Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Astonishing, true workmanship!
ah! you're back, we missed you sir
Good afternoon Jake, that is just beautiful. We have got some tools for dent removal for our body work. Really saves metal work time and repair. Thanks for another great and informative video. You take care.
Afternoon Steve, a lot of bodyshops are using some form of paintless dent tools now especially glue pulling to reduce the time spent on these repairs and save money, makes sense really. all the best, Jake
Fantastic work!!! Takes a ton if patience. Well done. Thx for vid!
Thank you 👍

Stunning work...👍
Superb, the editing is on a different level and impressed you showed the brick wall at the very end.
Well you made that look easy Jake even though it was right on the curve of the panel line! Top work, hope Dapper let you keep those new tools.
Thanks, this was fairly straightforward, especially with having such good access behind and luckily the weather held back:-)
I'd really like to see customers reactions to seeing the final outcome.
Fantastic work as always Jake
I did this work for 35 years. You are a craftsman.
Absolutely amazing craft and art....only a few years ago I heard PDR guys say a body like or crease is impossible to go.....truly you are amazing!!
That was impressive. Mind blowing.
It's so satisfying to watch such a master at work.
Thanks for your kind words Josh 👍
thanks for sharing, i'm learning a lot from you here in Brazil.
Amazing, absolutely amazing!
Great to see you posting videos again! Just wondering, how hot do you heat the panel so that the paint does not crack?
Wow I'm amazed and the professionalism in this video 👏👏👏
Thank you for your videos. They are authentic and you take the time to explain them very well. I'll start a project on my own with my car and I am taking your videos as the base. Thank you!
Best of luck!

Wicked cool. Niceee job. Simple and straightforward. 🤙🤙
The reflection of the bricks from the building are a true testament to a great pdr repair! Looks like that front bumper was repainted at some point or horribly matched from the factory.
Заждались уже! Как всегда, SUPER!!!
Спасибо!
Muy buen trabajo! Exelente terminación!
Buen video!
Gracias!
Very Good Job! Top of the lines sklls, and patiences! Most body work experts , wont approach that job that way!
Parabéns excelente trabalho!
Amazing work!!!
man I was really hoping you were going to be at MTE! You do such an amazing job with your videos and explanation!
Thanks I put a lot of effort into them. MTE would be amazing. I would love to go to somewhere like that, If I was getting the money the USA techs get I would be on the next flight lol!

Love your work
this man is a magician, i love his videos
You're an artist mate, great work.
I’ve tried taking out small dents but it’s so hard! It’s scary. I’m afraid to make them worse. So I stop halfway. I think using these tools will make it a lot easier. I’m going to checkout your videos on these types of dents.
You are a true craftsman. I loved the video.
Lovely Work,nice new tool's.
Well Done.
An Appreciative
Raptor Rob 👍
Hello from your country's Son, the states! I know a whole family the Father and his two grown Sons that are into all things gear-head and bodywork. I'll show them this! That saves many potential problems such as paint matching, the new paint having a problem in a couple years etc. BraVO!!
Yes, it sure saves a lot of time and hassle if a dent can be saved using this method, thanks for watching!
@@1st_track_dents Thank YOU for posting. Showing them the link now. It's so rare these days to know younger generations that are into cars etc. like we were. His kids have tons of knowledge handed to them by him. They ate it up since they were 6! ❤
@@Davethreshold That's sounds great, I'm sure they must know of this already, it's huge over there in the States 👍
Metal work wizardry. Incredible skill.
Very detailed in every tutorial! Less talk and more action! Great video
Can you post a description of the tools used and a link to the company that sells them.
Tu es enfin de retour! Bienvenue. J adore apprendre.
Oui, je suis de retour!
Wow, that's just unbelievable. Nice work!
Wow you have a great talent mate and as a panel beater I'll be trying this myself THANKS for the videos
Thanks Simon 👍
Good job mate😍
If it was me doing that, I'd call it done after the 1st stage..
But i wanna learn how to bend back a dent to perfection and not just flopping it back and forth. This video served me just that..
Thanks man.
Wow beautifully done! Would love to learn this trade
Awesome skill 💯 your needed here man 😊
I have done pdr for 22 years. I have designed the perfect pdr hammer. None of the tap/hammer combos seem right. Couldn't live without homemade hammers.
Yes, there is nothing like bespoke hand made tools, I have quite a few and have quite a few ideas for new tools I want to make. 👍
You are a master of your craft! Incredible
Impressive! You are a very skilled body repair man sir!
Excellent work
Jake, is there an ideal temperature for the body panel to be when working to eliminate any paint damage
Well done jake. Awesome.
That's an amazing process to watch. Stellar video! I wouldn't believe it if you told me... Watching you perform this magic is captivating.
Thank you, really appreciate you giving up your time to watch the video 👍
