This was wonderful, I am now so inspired to practice tai chi.,I love the way you teach, no fuss just calm, clear directions. I have been looking for something like this for a while and I am completely delighted with this beautifully simple and clear presentation, this will change my life. 🇳🇿Thank you so much, Carol in Australia
This is the best tai chi video I've found! I like that it went slowly and smoothly through the exercises -- the alst 18-movement was fabulous. I want more by him!!
I have a lot for physical painvand limitations regarding movement. (The history would not be useful) Yesterday, I tried this for the first time, and, believe it or not, I have been able to move around better today. I would like to know if it is good to do it every day. Thank you, So much for the help
I'm 74 yrs old, I exercised every day & in good health physically, but I felt something not right about my nerves this is the area that my regular exercises cannot help. I turned to the oriental practice and doing this Tai chi for over a year now, these exercises help, concentrate in your movements and breathing are important. ❤
Such clear instructions enable me to follow the moves. I love this video and intend to keep at it until proficient enough to move on to next level. Thank you Ian!
Wonderful video with clear instructions. I hope it’s part of a series, but if it isn’t I’ll keep using this one. I’m looking for a type of exercise that is not too hard on my multiple joint osteoarthritis. Greetings from Channelview, Texas.
Thank you. This is fantastic. So clear in instructions, so mindful . Helped enormously with anxiety, sleep, blood pressure. Hope to move to intermediate at some point
My first time to try Tai Chi. I'm so glad to have found your video and made the decision to watch you. You were easy to follow, your voice is soothing. Very pleasant experience. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. My husband and I have been doing your exercises since the lock down every day. We wondered if you would be doing another video with more beginners movements for us not so mobile followers. We enjoy them so much and it has helped us with our balance.
This was excellent. Easy to follow along. I feel great after. Thank you for putting this out there. Also I'm shocked, this video felt like it was 5 minutes long.
Thank you man ! This is what I was looking for since 2 years ! Very basic & clear instructions that makes all difference. I’m frustrated though because it’s not a part of series 😢
My first Tai Chi session. I'm use to stationery meditation and I'm also very active. This is a pleasing and relaxing combination of meditation and activeness. Another addition to the healthy mind and body regime:)❤😊
Hi I just wanted to say what an excellent video you have created. Just enough and not too much.I have been recently diagnosed with PMR and there is very little else that I can do. It has not only given me an new interest but is also keeping me moving. Thanks very much
Hello Ian, i live in Belgium. Can't attend your classes because of distance and Corona. Then again I take great comfort and feel the right energy by you as a teacher. Maybe there are more people in my situation? Could full online sessions be a possibility? I would be happy to pay for these sessions, evidently. Thank you very much. Good luck to you, Peter
From watching you it seems to me that if you have any martial arts experience at all in doing any of the forms you can extrapolate the movements from any particular form and performed up in a slow flowing manner repetitiously to get the same results. Is this hypothesisOf mine correct? I can see you also that if one is familiar at all with any of the tai chi forms you can also stream together favorite movements into a sort of exercise like you’re doing here
I'm confused. There were three moves taught and then were supposed to follow 18 moves. So 13 moves which weren't taught. I thought I missed something. Did I miss something?
I think you mean well but you really aren't doing Thai chi. I'm guessing you are just making these moves up? I'm not trying to be mean but I can show you what I mean and send you some material if you would like. I'm not suggesting stopping making videos. Maybe just call it your own thing. But thai chi is very specific. Yes with different styles. But. I'm just saying
isnt it too slow for you though? why is it this slow? do you really feel well exercised after this? where is it possible to find a proper workout with tai chi moves?
I also love the idea that there are no plants, no music and no gimmicks. Very plain, very pleasant, very enjoyable. Thank you.
