Recently ive had 3 failed attempts at getting a drive shaft nut off !! Think i will need to go to mates garage and get him to loosen it off !!
I’ve always been the same, if it isn’t broken you probably shouldn’t mess with it,.. but I’ll never learn.

There may be, but I didn’t see one 🤔
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos There is a unbracokey hole under the vvt. Don't remember the size. But there is your filter. It's more of a screen filter.

One of our 5 yariss with 1kr-fe has thrown up a light with P0011. Just want to give cleaning it, and the camshaft position sensor a go, but if I could get part numbers thatd be awesome 😁, thanks too, the video is very useful, you are a funny guy 😅
I’m not sure about part number, but the vvt Solenoid is likely either faulty or dirty. I doubt the cam sensor is the issue and it wouldn’t throw that code. Also, the chain could be stretched but that’s not really heard of on these engines.

but the strangest of things ,, its one of two words I know and use often that isnt actually in the dictionary at all

is possible not fault code but sound ground at 2000 tr/min at the moment of vvt ?
It is probably possible, but likely to throw a cam position code on most engines.

I drove my 107 for 10 minutes went back home cos I forgot something came to start the car it cranks but doesn't fire up so plugged in the obd2 and had error code p0011 A Camshaft position - Timing over-advanced or system performance (bank 1) is it worth checking this, great commentary by the way 🤣
Yea this could be the culprit. Doesn’t usually stop them from starting though as fast as I’ve heard. Did you park it facing up hill and leave it in gear at all?
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos it's parked on a level surface it's an automatic I did check the oil and it was low but not enough to bring oil light on, 90000 on clock serviced last October it's got me scratching my head.
@@paulfrancis2790 I was just asking because if you turn the engine backwards, as in leaving it in first gear pointing up hill and it rolls back a bit, it can cause the chain to jump but these engines aren’t known for timing chain issues. The vvt could be the issue though.

Update rescanned car and getting b2799 communication problem with immo and ecu sounds like I have a immobiliser issue, the p0011 must have been stored in the ecu when my daughter was out in the car oil and engine light came on so topped up the oil and they went off, have you come across any immobiliser issues.

@@stoglegend they’re long as fuck. Mine does 35 in 1st, 65 in second, 90 in 3rd, 110 in 4th and fuck knows what in 5th, but I intend to find out 😂
