Can you remove the cams without removing the chain tensioner and be able to reinstall the cams? Tia
I’ve redone done this job since this video was made and made a better video of the process using the correct type of LEDs. Please check out the new video: ua-cam.com/video/OkAo4TbxGUI/v-deo.htmlsi=CFnRzDY0HqlperpI
Turned out really well, I'm very tempted. Great work yet again.
Not a bad result for an idiot painting them in the wind 🤣
YES! The C1 shitter is back 🙌 😍 I would be proud to go to school in that and tell all my mates that my dad works for team Red Bull F1. Brilliant footage 👏
It’s not going anywhere soon, well… saying that I’ve not even driven the car for about a month. I lent it my mate and it’s so good that now he’s ignoring me since I asked for it back. Obviously just wants to keep it! P.s. my lad also “loves” being dropped off at school in it. So much so that he insists I drop him where nobody can see it, the cheeky little bastard 🙄
@StupidBlokeStupidVideos We need it back for more YT videos 📹 This shitter is the star of the show? * Your lad will look back at in one day and see that you was cool 😎 👌
Spray the rear windows with it aswell 🙃
Yeah I was thinking the same
This has been suggested a couple of times, might give it a go 🤣
Foot tapping resumed, the world is in harmony again.... Yes ! Actually for a shit job they actually looked half decent after a polish. Great sucess 👍
The earth is back on its axis! Thanks mate!
I used to get lifted from School in a grey Nova SR and thought I was the dogs danglies 😂
My son is embarrassed when I drop him at school in this, can’t blame him though 😂
That looks shit... I love it! 😂
Executed with perfection 😂

You can fit a mk2 shifter mech. They are supposed to be a lot better 🤔

Looks good just get a spare set of rear lights for mot time
@@grantdeancommons5390 it’s fine for MOT. The reverse light has a blue tinge but it still more white than blue.
Make sure you do it after your MOT. Reverse light check, white, eh no it's blue! 😂 Fail. 😞
@@gavjlewis it’s just got a blue tinge to it. Be reet
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos I guess depends how picky the MOT tester is. Just MOTd the other car yesterday (not the C1) and decided to leave the Auxito headlight bulbs in. He failed it. I had to swap them back out in the carpark and retest it. Soon as I got home put the LEDs back in. 😂
@@gavjlewis I had to swap mine too. As an MOT tester myself I’m as fair as I can be, but some things aren’t testers discretion and are a straight fail so you have no choice. The guy who tested mine agrees that the Auxito should pass as the beam is perfect, but rules are that he would have to fail it if they were in ffs
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Yes he tested them and beam was good. It was only how white they were that raised eyebrows. Nearside Headlamp light source and lamp not compatible (4.1.4 (c)) Offside Headlamp light source and lamp not compatible (4.1.4 (c)) The only annoying thing was I had to wait until he had done the next MOT so had to hang about. I took them out for the MOT on the C1 because it's pretty obvious but thought I might be ok on the Mazda 6. Ah well.
@@gavjlewiswith small shit like bulbs, i just swap them during the MOT and PRS stuff like that
never a great idea to spray tail lights ,,,, ask who ever is following for their views on this one. but Im now thinking Uncle Buck , at least you dont wear your PJ's to drive him to school ..............or do ya ?
@@tomthompson7400 it’s ok, I’ve got super bright Auxito LED bulbs in them!

@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos videos or is that the new sex tape title? 🤔
Fookin ell Tim lol your lucky the lights didn't disintegrate like the hazard switches do when you spray polish on them. YES 😄
@@Sloposse those hazard switches disintegrate when they are installed at the factory.
I wonder what the outcome would be if the lights were flatted with wet and dry like you do for headlights before spraying. They do look better after you polished them for sure.
@@DARTraderMediaProductions this stuff is designed to stick without flatting, cos you can take it off again with some de-tinting spray
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Good point, it would be a bitch to try and remove applied to a flatted surface I guess.

I learned that it in vain if you don't change the fuel pump filter which is usually in the tank,,,,, 3,000 miles and that little mesh filter is junk, additives keep the injectors spray but don't clean that little mesh pump filter.😢

Did you have to drain the oil before doing this?
@@kevstamc3676 no mate. Just did what you see in the video.
The comment about adding engine cleaner to the fuel tank improved your steering response, just priceless! I've used the same product on diesel engines for a long time, before that I used STP products once or twice as I knew them from the days I lived in the US, but they're more expensive and not as readily available in the UK. Anyway I can tell you that you wasted your money here - you didn't give it enough time to see any improvements and 5-6 times richer mix doesn't bring you 5-6 times better results! First time I used Redex (full bottle in a full tank as written on the bottle) it made the engine sound so rough and idle running quite erratically, so badly that I showed it to 2-3 car mechanics who said I might have ruined my engine (probably piston rings) and I wouldn't know it for sure unless the engine removed and taken to pieces so could be closely examined. I didn't and went with it see what happens. The rough running slowly went away over time after at least 3 more full tanks of diesel, later engine ran very smoothly quietly and idled lower RPM, performance was noticeably better while fuel economy at least 1/3 better! I've since used the product every 6 months and got less clear results. I concluded that this product is thin, slow acting and long lasting so as not running the risk of damaging modern diesel engines with a lot of intricate moving parts and seals inside.
Wow quickest service ever! And they charge a ton for this?? 😂 😎👍 Luckily my bikes a cg125es4 2005 and it has no such gizmos, hasnt even got a rev counter. Cheers dude

wish I had known this a week ago, mine was rattling and then one trip down the M1. Lets just say its not rattling anymore and its failed its MOT. Anyone got any suggestions of where to source a replacement?
Yea cos it’s near the fuel tank it can fail MOT for being missing. There’s a bloke called Ash Carter at Jelly Snake Motorsport who breaks these. He’s in the bug groups on Facebook. Give him a shout, he’s a top bloke and will likely have one in stock.
Did it pass ?
Of course, 2 years in a row now!
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos nice, know what I'm doing come MOT time
bro can you tell me why the check engine light is on and i have only 670 klm
You’d need to plug it into diagnostics to know for sure, but if it’s running ok then it’s likely a low voltage fault code. These bikes throw them up quite often when the battery’s goes low
I've tried fitting these and it runs like a dog, and then when putting the original injectors back in it was even worse 😂

My adjuster wheel is jammed, how do you get over that?
You may need to take the disc off and take the adjuster out, or maybe you can get some heat on it with a little blow torch but probably be hard through the hole
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos thank you for replies it means a lot, the disc spins loose (with a tiny bit of resistance) I’ve walloped it with the hammer a few times but I only get a little play, do I have to keep hitting it hard on the hub endlessly until it comes off?
@@seeyouintheeighties no problem, I try to reply all comments on my vids! I’m assuming you’ve taken the calliper off and the screws out already? If so then yea basically. It’s probably seized to the hub in the centre. If you’re not replacing the disc then sometimes you’re got to keep hitting the centre “drum” part of the disc to try shock it loose. If you’re replacing it then they will usually come off by hitting the disc outwards, but will damage the disc doing it that way.
