    I did in UE 5.5 Get Landscape Data -> Surface Sample -> Attribute Noise and here the input seesm to be gray instead of blue and seems to not work. Any ideas what can help? I want to use Density filter

    Awesome, I just have an issue that make my sidewalk flying above the ground because it is on top of the main road. I'm wondering why in your video it nicely matches the ground? If I lower the Center Adjust, then my road is below the ground.

    Nice tutorial but I guess this isn't working in 5.5? After adding the layers they remain black along with the landscape, I'm sure I followed your steps but I can't get it working. After saving (weight blended normal) the material remains black :/

    absolutely amazing video, im practically brand new to unreal engine, i played the last of us and so the Grounded video they uploaded about the process of making the game and I got inspired to try and make a game of my own by myself, It was still simple to do even though i used 6 materials instead of 2, yes it got weird for a second with all the lines but i made it work, THANK YOU, keep doing what you are doing

    Hello, I have a question. I'm using this asset, but I have an issue with the snow. The grass I'm using on the ground is flat and entirely oriented along the Z-axis. When I enable the snow, everything gets covered except the grass because it should be tilted to turn white. Is there a way to make all the grass turn white without tilting or modifying the model? thanks

    Great tutorial, thanks a lot! I get snow even under the roof, but not a rain, also my character's cloth gets wet even under the shed, how to adjust those settings, blueprint, would be great to know!

      Ah that is a good question. I believe there is a blueprint in the same folder as the foot snow trail. It lets you mask out areas of snow fall or puddles. Otherwise you might need to just use a different material on the areas that you don't want coverage.

      If the box is not visible try pressing "g" to toggle your view mode. Hope that helps

    To be honest your PCG Workflow is kinda weird and half PCG used, as I saw many tutorials they dont use this semi-manual mode which is more procedural and ease of use

    Thank you, I am looking actually to mage full procedural by PCG, for example make the road itself via PCG, when we add some connection cross road gets connected correctly and make curves, etc., is that possible to make some content like that. Something like Cities Skyline game but for Architecture purpose.

    Hello, im trying to give my mesh some snow effect but i can't find surface_weather_effects node, i only have snow_and_dust_weather_effects but when i apply this node it seems the surface on the mesh doesn't have any bump, any solutions?

    Sorry if this comment comes out as me picking on you, because that not what i intended on :) The systems you are adding from Ultra Dynamic Sky and Weather is not called "Assets" They are blueprint systems and. So your not adding "assets" you are adding blueprint systems, components or functions from the UDS system...

      Haha don't worry, thanks for the feedback. Yeah I guess, to me, coming from the production side of things, all things in your content browser are assets. But you are right it is a more general and less specific term. Blueprint would have been more specific and accurate 👍

    Hello, thank you for your tutorial, just wanted to know : it seems that the snow is under the real mesh of the landscape and not over it. Because of this, the character seems to float unnaturally above the distorted snow. Is it possible or do you have any clue to make the snow over the landscape material rather than under ?

    The issue I seem to be having is that all these videos leave out what leads up to this. Like aroud the 3:00 mark he starts talking about how the ambient occlusion is in the red channel and so forth, does that change? How do I know what textures to grab? Can I just make my own stuff with a camera and going outside and taking pictures of grass, leaves and such? It so hard getting started with this stuff when the information is found in bits and pieces and out of order. Anyone have good recommendations for getting started? Im familiar with the basics like movement around the editor and such, now i just need to start using the software and getting experience, I figured I'd start by making a little open map to run around in with the default character but I keep hitting roadblocks, ugh.

      Basically the texture (which is packed) means X3 textures in 1 texture. This saves a lot of compute power. With Quixel they stack their ambient occlusion, roughness, and displacement textures into one. Known as ORD. When using a texture sample with a ORD texture in it. You can access each texture in the stack by dragging from each channel R,G,B.

    UDS is an unoptimized piece of crap, never use it in games, maybe rip out clouds only.
