Great observations! As a college professor, I tell my students that college is mostly about networking. Increasingly, I think there will be more viable alternatives to college.

Very informative video. I love the points on networking. I think there's a HUGE difference between traditional universities and specialized cg schools. I've found my cg school to be 10x better in cost, networking, portfolio help, instructor experience and of course teaching skills.
Thank You! Yeah, I agree, I guess also because they are so craft focused, they are really trying to get you into a job in the quickest way possible. Sometimes that is not the main goal of university unfortunately. I think I got lucky with my program I was in because they really industry focused.
