BMW E92 328xi Radiator Replacement
Replacing the radiator in a 2008 BMW 328xi. These plastic radiators commonly leak in the upper radiator hose elbow which can break off if left unattended, usually ready to break by 100k miles.

Upper radiator hose replacement for BMW. Bmw 328i N52 radiator hose leak fix. These hoses like to crack and break over time, not so much the rubber but the low quality plastic itself. I'd recommend everyone to replace the entire cooling system by 100k.

    Great troubleshooting tips! Except this wouldn't help me as I have a 2000 Accord EX and don't believe that controller is in my door. My power lock (and dome light) don't work from driver side switch. I have to use key fob or key to lock/unlock. I'm thinking my issue is in the Multiplex Control unit (38800-S84-A06) under dash.

      Good evening Mike. Did you get your lock working? Do you suspect its the driver or passenger side multiplex? I have a similar issue where my door locks work with the Key FOB or I can open locks for both doors from the passenger side.

      @@freight-specialist6929 Nope, never fixed it. That controller board looks like too much work under the dash. I use the key fob, or if I don't have it, reach over to passenger side to hit that button. It's too bad bc that is the only issue with my 2000 accord ex which is otherwise still in mint condition!

    Thank you for posting this video. My switch will only unlock all of the doors, but will not do anything when pressing down yo lock. My switch tested closed circuit up and down and open in middle position. So the switch appears fine. The three pole harness connector shows 12v only on the right terminal. Only one side is energized on my harness. In your video, you say there is power on both the outside terminals. Is the harness supposed yo have power on both the outside terminals?

    Question, what do I do after realizing this? I had the piece inside my cap but my o-ring was flat and broke up which allowed oil to go inside I put a new oil cap and cage and still had the code: p0012 do I have to let the oil that have been going in the there burn out? Or what I’m not sure but from the look of my cage ring that was the problem.

    A little hack that I thought up, when I realized that I was going to have to remove my intake and hoses etc., was to find some 2" dia. automotive/Marine Grade heat shrink tubing. Most of the time we think of heat shrink tubing as thin pieces for little wires, but it comes in some really big sizes as well. This heat shrink tubing has the added advantage of not just being oil/chemical resistant, but water-proof as well. It has a thick coating of very sticky heat-activated adhesive inside that seals 🦭 😳 out the elements. I'm sure many will say that that's not spec. or whatever, but in a pinch it works and gives you time to order a replacement if you need to. I'm glad I did because I broke one of those evap hoses and this stuff did the job perfectly. I now keep an assortment of high-grade heat shrink tubing, because in an emergency you could actually use it to patch up a busted radiator hose.     That insert is only needed in the N54 and N55. It's meant to divert oil to the turbos. If you have the N52 this is not required
