Anyone still going around with the original hose is legit on borrowed time. 3 stage manifold swap is pretty well covered here just gotta make sure the disa valves are fully working and not just solid.
Good video, my N54 was leaking a little right wear the hard pipe and hose meets on the right side, I ordered a replacement and it's a quick DIY. Ironically, the hard pipe snapped as I was pulling it off.
Guys for me was better to replace water pump, thermostat, expansion coolant hose, upper radiator hose, and engine temperature sensor, lastly coolant fan i spent $1.5k car running back again

Does this reservoir hose cause engine over heating? The hose where the nipple meets is hissing and leaking coolant when i turn the car off?
You need to replace the expansion coolant hose it’s $50 better than cause long term engine damage simple job can dyi

The new hose is supposedly an updated design. Got it at FCP euro

What size hose did you use as the temporary fix my bro?....great video Btw
If I don’t remember correctly I think I used a 12mm round poly tube as a temp fix and it worked

I wouldn’t drain anything you don’t need to. I think you could just disconnect the hose at the radiator hose and drain it from there pointing down.

You mean the nipple on the upper radiator hose? You'll need to replace the hose entirely.

Don't have to drain anything really, just refill and run the bleed procedure after you're done
