    I replaced tmwith a new plug. My fuse is good. The passager seat work perfectly The driver seat cool is working g perfectly The driver seat heater starts for able 40 sec then it stops. If I try and press the driver heat or cool again to start it back up the light turn on and off in a split sec. I would have to turn my vehicle off then back on to reset it and it will go back to normal until I press the heated seat button. The passenger button still work even while the driver is malfunctioning. And thought if it could be the way I wired it up, or the relay board itself has gone bad

    There is an aftermarket oil filter housing that is metal and allows one to screw onto it a small levered valve for oil drainage. Sooooo much easier than what was designed by Audi. Sooooo much less messy --- just connect a clear vinyl hose from it to the oil pan and wait for full drainage.

Nonetheless, I was able to replace the switch in my 2018 in about an hour by following these clear and well-illustrated instructions. Other than needing to refer to the owners manual for the numbering on the fuse (perhaps because it is a different year), the process was exactly as described in the video. I’m about to take it to the car wash, something I have been hesitant to do for ages for fear of the wrath the wipers would subsequently take out on my windshield. • @AutoTechWorld_DIY
      @AutoTechWorld_DIY 4 місяці тому

      You should not go under a vehicle lifted by a hydraulic jack. Always put jack stands under the vehicle as well, because the hydraulics can let go causing the vehicle to drop on your face, potentially killing you. You don't need a lift though to change the line, to answer your question. You may even be fine driving it on ramps.

      You're welcome. You could make sure, that the new part was not faulty. That happens sometimes too unfortunately. Or you can buy a service manual and diagnose what it could be. The other option, is to take it to the dealership and to have a professional diagnose it. Sorry, probably not the advice you were looking for.

    Thank you so much!!!!! This is basically my only UA-cam comment ever and I can't even tell you how grateful I am for the simple solve to our problem. We were stranded with our camper trailer at the start of our epic camping trip, trying every thing we could think of for a couple hours and we were about to have to call a tow and give up. Boom! That was the issue!

      Wow, what a story. The mood must have been in the gutter. I am glad that helped you out. Enjoy your camping trip.

    Oil all over the socket and plugs when removing. I do 10k oil interval changes with full synthetic and baldwin filters. Never low on the dipstick, car has 175k on the clock now.
