@@AutoTechWorld_DIY well me and my dad were fixing our van which was the same model and he said your vid didn’t work well and you have to go on a certain screen for it to work. I wrote this comment so others won’t struggle with fixing this car. You did good on that vid tho! 👍
Oh I see. Yeah, you probably have to go the oil monitor screen and then hit the buttons. It was already there when I started the video, so it worked for me without going there. Thanks for the update.
I watched a handful of other vids and it didn’t mention the press, release and press and hold again. Yours was the only instruction that did what I needed it to do. Thank you!
Ours is the Odyssey but it did not want to reset the way you showed. However, it did get the oil number The flash and then we had to go into the entertainment system to reset through the maintenance reset button. The original way it would just lock the whole maintenance button. But thank you very much for the information
It was the first video that came up when I googled the issue! Also, you taught me how to start the car without starting the engine so thanks for that too 😂
This does not work for the 2016 touring models as they have a dot matrix display there not the display you have in the video. It's a different setup and the buttons are not the same or the setup is not the same
After more research, the Touring and the Elites trims have different displays, and it is a different process. May need to make note of that. @@AutoTechWorld_DIY
It is the all change reminder light that you are resetting. You reset that after you change the oil so it will count from the beginning and tell you when to change the oil again.
You need to be on the certain screen on the car for it to work.
Is that a question?

That's unfortunate. Thanks for letting me know.

Thank you.
This works
Good 👌
Why do I want reset the oil gage?
It is the all change reminder light that you are resetting. You reset that after you change the oil so it will count from the beginning and tell you when to change the oil again.
@bshrkkz That's right. 👍
I can't get My Service due soon A1 off the screen so it's not working. smh.
If you followed the exact steps, I'm not sure what to tell you.
