:D hey hey - yes im already thinking at a top 10 nibs video - but I have trouble going further if im going to do a top on my favorite nibs form my collection in that I will grade regardless of the nib/material my favorite or to judge overall as a average manufacturers nibs. I think im going to stick to a manufacturers offerings so that anyone watching can relate because if I do something that its available in my personal collection.... well no one can have it outside of me :)) so like this we make the video as a useful guide for all and not just bragging

@@pen.venture yes of course. and a lot of it is very subjective. i would love to know how you rank a kop versus a custom urushi versus an emperor, but they are all very different nibs that are hard to compare (i think i will soon go for the custom urushi though😄). do you have an absolute favourite?

This helped me pass that cringe moment each time I was putting back my sailor pen parts and always did this with my heart skipping a beat thinking "what if I over tight a little and I crack the section ...." now its a walk in the park just wash quick no water gets in and im enjoying it quicker and safer

Yes pocket pens have this small ink volume that they come with them - there are ways to make up more ink volume but most of the times it involves eyedropper conversions

@@pen.venture There are pocket piston pens like the Twsbi mini and the Pelikan m200 that hold 1.3ml of ink, that is a pretty respectable amount even for a full size pen, I guess that there isn't much of a market for them, a shame because pocket pens are my favorites.

depends if you want something from our line up that we sell or something that you dont find available and its only on the gravitas website

they can but they need some grease on the threads and it can have some metals that react with the ink - also eyedroppers come with the more sensitive results in flow which I personally dont like as much - who wants to trade the convertor for more ink volume but less of a performance - they can but there is a price to pay

Dont be shy... as big as it is, it's strangely practical .... its weight is not as imposing and its ergonomic factor is high, carrying it is a bit of a challenge because it requires a special carry accessory and it needs a lot of care to not drop it or leave it unattended - it will find someone that nicks it if its left on a table unattended its like eye candy

:D I think it has to do with a more exotic palette of materials, if you want to have one of these fancy metal pens ... take the dinkey - if you just want to have a pocket pen that you dont mind form what is made of... take the quark :D

relative the same as size, just a little alternated shape :D

:D I started writing with a pen since I was 7 years old :D now im 33 :D and I know the feeling because I often left the fp down for some years like example for collage and that sweet calling back by my favorite fp ... was sooo sooo sweet like seeing an old friend

Thank you :D Yes pens are designed by Ben (tho he works and designs from world wide - last time we traveled together he designed a pen while on a train :)) - can we call it a pen designed in Romania? since we where traveling in Romania ) - pens are manufactured in parts where the capabilities of machining and the quality of work is presented at the best pricing, including with many of these parts being made in Ireland - then everything gets to be tested for its quality and properties in labs then if they pass the test - they are shipped in Ireland where everything is assembled / tested and shipped world wide. When we will have the partnership ready - from Ireland they will be sent to us to be sent to Gravitas customers :D

Yup - exactly - there are some situations where a ballpoint or roller does wonders and when we have so many great choices at our disposal - we can be practical yet with neat style, the Black Cherry is very discreet yet couldn’t pass without being at least noticed

That Tobacco is sweet as an angel now - it was a project pen form the first moment I’ve seen it but I knew the right person for the job. On retro I have only one word - Everything ! 😆

:)) well … I might be open for some cross mods but I have to really need to see if they are something that I can overlook, now that my conid got its original nib, It’s even more precious to me

@@pen.venture Yeah, I'm new to this hobby. I have a TWSBI Eco and have ordered a Pilot Custom 823. Hopefully, as my hobby and as well as I grow, I will be able to afford this beautiful Emperor pen.

@@Lovepreet_Singh93good choice jumping to the 823 so soon. IMO there’s no point in collecting a punch of low tier pens for the sake of just having them.

@@AreaCode4hoe8 Yeah, that was my initial thought as well. Instead of accumulating low-quality pens, I decided to invest in a nice pen. Currently, I am saving money to purchase a Lamy Dialogue cc.

Well it’s a whole lot of orders and a single set of hands in need to pack them and the run the company - basically this is why we joined our efforts to solve such issues in the future

Yup - I have it in my Gravitas Ultemate Vac, that is so so sweet combined with a flexy nib

I couldn’t say - but since they wash so easy, one may assume that they don’t stand the test of time like something more permananet (if we can say “more permanent” to define inks that stand better the water test and are not permanent by nature)
