My Chiropractor recommended turmeric, and when I got back to him about the terrible migraine it cause he did not believe me. This was very helpful. I do have inflammation , and would still like to be able to add it to my diet .

Seeing as how my aunt died of an aneurysm, naturally these absolutely unsettle me. I’ve gotten them on the right side of my head thru the years. I notice I can reproduce the pain upon pressing my scalp and rubbing it. Can chronic neck tension cause these as well?

I am a 72-year-old male and have been stressed for about 6 months; that is when these horrid headaches started. A deep throbbing in the back of my head to one side that would wake me up after I fell into a deep sleep. This happened throughout the night. I tried one cup of tea at bedtime, roughly 50 ML of caffeine. Headaches have not returned.

I cant eat during a migraine. I have underlying neurological condition causing it. Feel sick and cant even use a knife or fork afterward. Cant talk normally. I cant digest mist foods. Im very thin. 35 kilos. Horrible things. I threw out my lunch because of migraine. Miserable. Doctor trying to get preventativr right so im not too ill to eat as 35 kilo is really bad.

Stop talking about things you have no authority on. Don’t fear monger and speak outside your scope. You are not a gyne doc or a functional provider who specializes in women’s hormones to the degree that you can qualify HRT vs ocp. There’s reasons to use either. It’s not black and white.

I'm half Asian and grew up in Hong Kong. Have had migraines since I was a child. I'm not sure if it was due to MSG at the time, there was less processed food around but as I got older, I can see that MSG DEFINITELY causes my headaches - ramen sauce, any type of salty processed food, dortiros and crisps etc. Everyone tells me that it's not MSG but every time I eat one of these foods, I get a horrible one sided headache the next day. Home cooked Chinese food shouldn't have MSG in it but most restaurants , especially Asian restaurants outside Asia cheat, and mix it into the food for more flavour.

I experience both fortification scintillating scotoma and digitolingual paresthesias a few times a year. I normally get one or the other, and only rarely have I had the visual aura and paresthesia together. Much to the annoyance of my sister who regularly gets full blown migraines, I *only* get the auras; I've never experienced a classic migraine headache. The episodes appear to be completely random, with no changes in diet, environment, or stressors.

Can you please explain this? Why do I get migraines twice a month…is it like the causes built up and then reach the threshold twice a month? Is the migraine brain more susceptible? But why do people get their first migraine often in their twenties? Is it suddenly more sensitive? Thank you.

I was infected with HSV-1 last summer. There have been many minor herpes reactivations in the past 6 months. During these reactivations (in some unlucky people), the virus first reaches the nervous system and then the brain. Then, it spreads to many small areas in the brain and the inflammation process begins. And for about 6 months, I started getting these pains for the first time in my life. Afterwards, inflammation attacks that increase with insomnia bring on these stabbing pains. And now what we need is an MRI with contrast and a neurologist who can interpret the results well. Because at the end of this process, plaques begin to form in our brain and depending on the severity of inflammation in people who will have MS over the years. Please investigate how HSV-1 reaches the brain and initiates a chronic inflammatory process there. I am very sorry that I was infected with this virus

Great information, thank you! I am 72 and have had only 3 migraines in my life until recently, when I've been getting them often or waking up on the edge of one. I thought about what had changed and realized I had run out of magnesium complex (usually take 200-400mg) for a couple of months . Also, I had quit reading in bed and instead, started watching stuff on the laptop. Hoping for a cure when I correct thesis two problems!

I started getting these headaches for a year now. I have headaches my whole life since I was a little girl. I have all types of headaches throbbing pounding constant and migraines where light is painful. But these headaches right here are crazy. There is no where to run or place ice to alleviate them. Lately I've been getting a headache for a week and then this ice pick headache immediately following and they last 2 days. This is horrible because you just want to feel normal again. You want to be able ro function like a normal person. Praying for all you fellow sufferers

nothing works ,they are inevitable in us with the disease.I really think your video is pointless as a H.M attack will happen no matter what.I run a group for people with H.M and most of us are permanently disabled from the disease. Its not just a migraine ,its more much more. The stroke like episode can cause permanent weakness to full on paralysis. I would prefer to hear an analysis on that.

I finally found what I have been suffering with for years! I am getting then constantly now, I keep telling everyone I think I’m having a stroke! And nobody listens to me! I have finally found that if I catch it right away when I feel it coming. I get a 16 oz Mountain Dew and it’s got to be in a glass with lots of ice 🧊 I have a separate container filled with ice and just keep it filled with ice while I’m drinking it if it wasn’t to bad 1 Mountain Dew will get rid of the pain but if it’s bad I start on another 16oz Mountain Dew. If it was a horrible one I will be up all night drinking them but always buy number 3 it will be gone and then I sleep really heavy for hours this works for now but I get them all the time! It consumes my life! I basically have no life! But at least with the Dew I can keep the pain that feels like my head is being run over and smashed non stop for 24 hours straight. That’s where I was at when I found out the the Dew works for the pain to go it was just a fluke that I tried it I was with a friend when I was getting one who was drinking one and they said try one it will kill your headache and I said no nothing works and they got me a glass filled with ice and I drank it and the headache went away! I couldn’t believe it! Like I said if it’s worse I need 2 if it’s horrible it’s an all nighter of drinking Mountain Dew for me it has to be constantly filled with ice! I hope this can help someone! These are horrible beyond belief! God bless anyone who is going through life with these . They the Dew! Good luck with it!

You do realize that you actually didn't tell why we have a headaches? If I am watching your video I now that I have a headaches because I eat 2 times a day. The truth is you have to eat carbs in your first meal but you also need a lot of fat and fibers like 1/0.5 part Oat fakes, 5/4 parts yogurt 3-5% fat, 0.5/1 parts chia seeds, 0.5/1 linseed 0.5/1 walnuts and 30 grams of beef protein powder. There will be lot of fats, lot of protein, a bit of carbs to make the energy go faster to the cells, and fibers to slow down the insulin spike and the fats afforce. Have in mind that Fasting is not for every one. If you are a bodybuilder, or have a heavy type of job it may not be the best way to eat 2 times a day. Also for work with lot of walking you need the carbs but the best ones are Rice and Oat flakes
