I have the 16" version and it's way over gassed when running suppressed...only has 2 settings, are there any aftermarket gas plugs with more settings or a stiffer recoil spring for this platform yet? Bolt is running so fast I'm getting failure to feeds on the last few rounds of both Lancer and Magpul mags

So my AR15 upper has picatinny rails. Will this free float handguard attach to the top of my picatinny rail? Or do I have to have an upper with no picatinny?

Ive never put a single round of steel cased ammo through anything i own and never will. So the mini is a great tool for my uses. Not the most accurate but also wasnt meant to be. Incredibly strong and reliable firearm. And those who say differently you will notice are only those that shoot dumpster fire ammo

So I just looked at my Spear and it has a piece that sticks out from the bolt catch that keeps the mag from going in too far so I don’t see how this could happen unless that isn’t aligned right or not there at all

where did you buy the torx plus bit?

Check the screws on the top rear portion of the handguard. They were coming out under torqued. They should be 45 inch/lbs. People were having them as low as 15. I bought a .308 in May of 2024 and everything is solid. Same with my 16 and 11.5 5.56. I also bought them in 2024.

Does cutting the barrel down reduce the gas, my 556 16 inch spear is really over gassed ejecting like 1:30

No issues BRN-4, it shoots, and achieves the level of accuracy I expect from the rifle. Any HK fan boys who poo poo it can say what they want with their MR556 / MR27 pretending to be CAG or DEVGRU. Geissele URG-I are really well gassed. I run that with a Tubb's rifle spring and an H2 with a standard BCG. Carbine buffer with a Gemtech adj-BCG set to suppressed with a DA Sandman S.

The rotating tab on my gas key came off during shooting the roll pin came out. I put it back in and tapped it back. It was a pretty tight fit, so I am unsure how it came undone, maybe the heat cycles.

exactly what I needed to know with the stocks. I want the better cheek weld than with the dinky MCX LT stock on my 300blk but I want keen on effectively eliminating my ability to fold the stock. granted I'm not used to a folding stock weapon and probably wont do it often anyways, but its nice to have.

Most of the issues that people say about Springfield could be resolved with polishing up some parts. Except for a broken safety. That one has to be replaced. Mine got a nice 8lb spring.

I have 2 p320's that I bought. When they had that drop safe issue I called them to get the trigger upgrade. I called 3 times and 3 times they claimed the shipping labels were in the mail. 2 - 3 year's later I'm still waiting for 3 shipping labels for 2 different pistols. I love my sigs but I. Not. buying anymore SIG anything till they fix there customer service dept.

The stock spear lt stock works well for me I actually like it but I can see why some people like the buffer tube version and use of a thicker buttstock end plate, I do need to buy a cheek riser for mine though mine didn’t even come with the plastic piece

I have same model and perplexed about how to retain iron sites and install a scope but not use the old style tall see thru mounts u have any suggestions? The bolt on side mount model I heard they are junk and come loose ?? Thanks

This has been a concern on of mine. I've wondered how much it would take to strip these out with SIG saying to torque them to 45 inch-lb. I had a ZRC but it bugged my hand and I was running a Unity/T2 combo anyway so I ditched my irons and removed my ZRC. I kept my screws torqued to 45 and one day my LT fell over in the bathroom post-op Taco Bell mission. The damn rail deflected SO bad it looked like the barrel was bent to the left. Had to loosen the screws to straighten it out. I no longer run screws on my Spear or Spear LT. I have a ZRC for both just sitting, never even installed the ZRC 308. Probably going to buy a OMM mount for my LT when I get another laser. Seems like these screws cause a lot of issues. Sigh!

What’s crazy to m is it seems less ppl have had problems with the psa jakl which is 1/4 the price of this and don’t have barrel bending …that being said I still want one to test it head to head

It has problem with low power ammo ,like some 223. just like mine , but if its in plus configuration no problem at all.

I am curious if you still have the DPP on your Staccato? I have one on my Staccato C2 and after 6 months it just quit holding zero.
