Just got my second 1301, the mod 2 in FDE. I agree that Beretta should’ve had the 300A patrol loading port on the new version 1301s. We’ll see if they do it on the next gen. I want the pro comp next since I live very close to an Olympic shotgun skeet range. I need to practice quad loading. I set up a belt with the Safari shell carriers to do that with. I did change the bolt handles and bolt releases to the Aridus ones. They are very nice. I added a +2 Lancer carbon fiber mag extension to the mod 2 and it doesn’t go past the barrel too much. I had to cut the stock mag cover so the mag tube isn’t exposed.

I recently noticed that GG&G now offers a heat shield that mates up with the modified Zhukov handguard. Have you thought about getting that as well?
