Did your magazine overtravel issue get fixed? Overall 308 is a more of a finicky round than the 5.56 and I have ar10s that have malfunction after malfunction but my spear chews them out and keeps on trucking. I have the 13in sbr and I'm glad I combined it with sigs new flow through shorty suppressor because they run together like peanut butter and jelly. Biggest downside of the rifle for me is cost of ammunition (even the cheapest stuff is expensive). Second downside is weight because I run it in its full package lpvo, laser, suppressor... though I've gotten used to it. Thanks for the update.
Awesome vid dude, keep it up. I've recently discovered your channel, went through most of your vids, and you're definitely improving. Keep it up, thanks for the update/knowledge transfer 🤙🤙🤙
@@strategic-werksI’ve tried every flavor of boiling water, breaker bars, bent a surefire three prong wrench, stripped all the wrench flats. It wasn’t moving
seems like experiences heavily vary. mine wasn't hard to remove (heated it up and came right off). but sounds like some of them are really rockset like almost welded on@@ModernRifleman
Nice update!! I need to do the same to my spear! I’ll be watching the others again and following suit!
I’m new to all this but how do you cut and weld?

Appreciate the update, very informative. Did someone local do the barrel cut, or did you send it out?
Over insertion issue?
How hard was the OG muzzle device to remove
I had to cut it off
Did you try hot water to remove it?
