I don't have the LT but I can tell that I still prefer the big boy spear. I think the armys new tactic of higher caliber shorter barrel more accuracy has some merit.
Besides the color, the handguard, weight savings, and the thinner barrel profile are big improvements. The Virtus was really front heavy compared to the Spear LT
