Thank you for taking the time. Extremely detailed and honest review. Saved me a lot of time. It is exactly what I have been planning for. Tired of waiting over a year on a KAC Knight product. As I have collected firearms for over forty five years. PSA quality and excellent price point.
16/14.5 inch AR-10's are so underrated. I built one around a 16 inch 4150 nitride faxon barrel, and got a 10 shot 1 inch group with Federal Gold Metal match without even trying to hard. Mine was 308, but those 14.5 creed look badass to. I think Faxon does the sabre barrels for the Large Frame AR's actually
Absolutely PSA hit it out of the park with this one. I like your stock choice. I just bought a 14.5 Armalite recently. In 308 Winchester. I own the billet M110 PSA in 6.5 Creedmoor. It is extremely accurate. And not one problem from day one. It is easy to upgrade to a Ambi magazine release. The magazine bolt release is held in by a threaded pin. In stead of a roll pin. You have to take it off so you can unthread the standard magazine release. I bought a Ambi magazine release from CDNN on sale for half off. Thinking about buying the same rifle as you. Only problem is I don’t have any room in my safe.
The extension is in fact an A5 tube. PSA sells it as the "Sabre S5 buffer kit" and all the S5 buffers are A5 length. Edit: The Sabre trigger is the Schmid 2 stage trigger you see everywhere (including from PSA) with a Nickel Boron finish, but in this application it has a DLC finish. Personally I think the DLC finish feels better than the Nickel Boron examples I've handled.
Takedown pivot pin shim washers can take out any upper to lower slop which you can get from midwayusa and Brownells. I have some on one of my builds and I don't have any slop
I think I might need a better barrel for mine. It’s a 16” ballistic advantage. I hear ppl say it works for them but for me the groups are random. With most grains even match. Not bad groups but there’s always 1.5 2” I know that’s not bad but when you spend 50 bucks a box it’s kinda frustrating. I’m not the best shooter but guns pretty stable when I zero. Idk.
You should have just gotten an after market adjustable gas block put it on yourself then work the gas block with the type of ammo you were using no big trick to it
The MR762 is a WILDLY overpriced platform... I wanna be super psyched about them... but it really doesn't seem to do anything to warrant the price. It doesn't even accept a lot of AR parts. If they made piston kits for .308 AR's i'd honestly build over buying an MR762. This sabre seems pretty cool for the money.

Your dog is not impressed. 😂 Cool that you put him/her in the video.
@@PeasantKing-od5lg my dogs are rarely impressed by things that are inedible. Bet you if it was a piece of chicken, they’d be all over it
Lol

Thanks for the info, definitely going to pick one up. Worst case may change the barrel depending on accuracy.
ZEV/Mega, Centurion, and Wilson combat also make Stoner cut lowers

How do you like compare with Spear 308?
SIG MCX SPEAR is heavier and $4200.
Schmid tool makes trigger
Mind has been a turd. Gas system issues, 3-6 MOA with FGMM. Waiting on PSA to RMA this damn thing.

Mine has been subpar as well. 2.5 MOA when it decides to run.
I subbed for the k9's in the review! 😊😅😂❤ But cool review. I really want a PSA upper but I live in Washington
SR-25 cut lower not dpms
