Great video as always, Tom! Gotta give KC credit, the vibes in the stadium for the game seemed great! Marta & Trinity Rodman in the same game is a treat. 2 absolute ballers raising the level and prestige of the league. I had the chance to go to the final here in Louisville in 2021, it was an awesome time. Trinity Rodman won ROTY that season, and she has been improving ever since. I think the NWSL has done a good job with the pageantry and capturing the vibes of American playoffs.

I know you were a bit concerned about the video quality. You provided a good fan's perspective of the match. Considering you did the USL watch-along earlier. you did a good job with this. I watched the game and it was definitely an edgy game - it was a typical title game. I like the fact that you talked to different supporters. Rest up - get some good ideas for next year. Better than the cash-grab BS ones (Caledonian Braves, etc.), but really just a membership, like many other clubs. You don’t really own the club, you just pay into the fund and have to renew every year to get your single vote. It’s like the Green Bay Packers “ownership” where you just donate to a nonprofit and get a tiny vote in a massive pool. Kinda misleading

Brilliant, the roads in Donegal are far better than the roads you will find in the non-sovereign part of Ireland known as Northern Ireland. There is also like two flights per day to and from the capital (Dublin). A beautiful county with 1/3 people bilingual Irish speaker’s, the county is full of history and the most beautiful views. Hopefully Finn Harps and finally achieve their dream of the new stadium.

Really wondering if the two dislikes I got were from people upset over how I pronounced Donegal. Like, your club is selling membership shares in an attempt to survive and someone was nice enough to do a video on it that has gotten a bit of traction. It is a great setting for a stadium and a soccer game. Easy to walk to the stadium from the downtown restaurants and attractions. Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh has a great city backdrop too.

Awesome video and great insight on Indy Eleven's home ground. It was good meeting up with you at the Indy Eleven playoff match. I also see myself with my selfie stick at 9:22 (red jacket and black and grey cap). The problem here is that the team wants to build a 20,000 seat stadium for what will one day become an MLS stadium, but should focus on a 9,000 seat stadium that would be among the best in the USL Championship. There is a stigma in town that USLC is minor league compared to the MLS. I hope it's figured out one day, but the original plans for the stadium would have been ready for the 2025 season. It might not open until the 30s!

I want to like this so bad, but you ruined it when mentioning the team to the south & Indy in the same sentence. Great video and valid points made to point out the “issues.” However, we do call it “the greatest dive bar” stadium for a reason. The bathrooms are actually bad. If there’s a storm bad enough, they get backed up & you can smell it everywhere.

I obviously feel for Indy Eleven and their supporters and wish them a rebound from the difficulties they've experienced recently. That being said, I love following a new team, and I've been beyond impressed at how well Rhode Island FC have done in their inaugural season. It would be remarkable if they went all the way, not in the least because how many professional sports teams from Rhode freaking Island ever get to lift a national league trophy?

It's a shame US soccer teams like Indy 11 can't get funding for facilities. A 15,000 seater with modern facilities and better matchday experience would do WONDERS for a club like that. Great video Tom 👍

Having a different schedule than Europe is how they get more attention in the summer. Guess what most soccer fans follow the rest of year (including winter)... Europe. The league struggles with attendance in some markets and this would make it much worse. Just put a small summer break during major international tournaments if you want that. Most clubs already get a break during the new Leagues Cup so just move it to June-July instead of August. I have met many soccer fans in the US that are more casual, and they get interested in MLS more and more each year during warmer months. Most fans are not die hard. Many come from warmer climates around the world, and have no desire to brave sub-freezing temperatures to watch their team play. If you want to grow the league and get more new fans (not just die hard MLS people), this is a terrible idea.

I would love to have MLS games on a Fall-Spring season. And yes, 35 degrees is much nicer than 95 in Kansas City.
