Does KC Current have the BEST women's soccer experience in America? (NSWL Away Day Review)

- EDIT: I meant mid-October, not mid-December. You'll know when you hear it.
I recently visited the Kansas City Current at CPKC Stadium for their September 28th match against Gotham FC.
And I'm convinced I saw the future right before my eyes.

I love the club and the stadium. Just got back yesterday from this past weekend’s match, and I genuinely have nothing but great things to say about it!
It blew me away! I really mean it when I say the Current are a blueprint for other women's clubs to follow!
WSL teams (Women's Super League) in the UK, WISHES they had stadiums that nice. Kudos to US womens soccer for setting the bar! 👏
About time we made Brits envy us yanks for something footy related for a change!

Proud to be a Gotham fan, and they had an amazing stadium to play at, too! Looks much nicer than Red Bull Arena, that's for sure. Temwa's a star, and we'd be lucky to have her on our roster with so many of our star players retiring.
Love your Away Day reviews mate. It looked like a great day, but, as you say, value in soccer is a fine line in many countries now. It's a tough balance, but, as you say, supply and demand, and if everyone's buying into it, and of course, further funding the club, that's essential too.
On one hand, I wonder if I should change up my ratings formula to remove value altogether or lump it in somewhere else because I'm beating a dead horse. On the other, I do feel the value of tickets/food/merch SHOULD be a factor for people traveling to these games, be it in their own city or out of town, like I hope this video helps with.
@@SoccerZombieSTL The value part is club specific as you referred to in the vlog. For travelling fans it's good to know in advance, even though there's an expectation of having to spend money. For the fans, well, I know that all economic sense goes out the window with your own club's merch. Ive bought both the home and away jersey for my team here in Denmark, and am considering the third... I also have to eat... But, that third kit is surprisingly cool...

I’ve been there, and the stadium is incredible. There were so many fans, it felt like I was the only Houston Dash supporter in the crowd.
It's really impressive how Current fans show out! And the thing about everyone wearing Current merch is still a bit mind-blowing given the kaleidoscope of kits I see at a lot of most games. Intense loyalty!
Thank you, I can see me in your video....the jersey prices are the same as sporting good store in the area. Beer prices are high but they do sell a lot of local so it's worth it. Thank you once again!!!!

Yeah I figure the beer isn't entirely on the Current. I just feel it's a bit stiff but yeah, the prices are universal.
And it's good they do a lot of local!
I'll be back! Good luck in the playoffs! It's Temwa Time!
