USL probably not. Super League also probably not (has to be a willing owner/Kavanaugh probably doesn't want to ruffle MLS as a part STL owner). NWSL feels like a ways away. Ownership seems content with just running CITY. Also, the expansion fee is over $100 mil now. It's why I've gone ahead and started backing KC Current across the state.
We do have a LOT of semi-pro clubs in the St. Louis metro. St. Charles FC plays in the USL2 (I'm their public address announcer). Ehtar Belleville FC are a fun club that just jumped to the MWPL to join Club Atletico STL, Ajax St. Louis, St. Louis Stars, SLDL, and AFC Columbia. I might be doing some content work for MWPL and/or Ehtar this coming season (which runs April-June) but that's how I'm quenching my local soccer appetite lol
7:51 I actually went to the MLS Next Allstar game in Columbus and got the chance to meet Tyson Pearce’s grandparents. They were very nice (and I’m pretty sure they were the only other CITY fans there as well).
The juxtaposition I'm in with that is the fact that Kijima DID have a long road to climb to even make the active roster this season. I was thinking maybe a loan would do him good, as he's too good for CITY2, IMO. But Kijima was a "good problem" in that regard that I'd much rather us solve ourselves. To be fair, he should get the playing time he needs (and honesty craves) in DC.
It’s eerie how similar Emil looks to Klauss in his play style.
Two big giraffes lol
That's a lot of limbs just coming at you.
Wacky waving inflatable men have nothing on these two lol
I’m glad I’m not the only one who still isn’t over the Kijima theft (like snake theives)
Like Gandalf told Elrond: “The wound will never fully heal. He will carry it for the rest of his life.”

Like finally publishing this video: "A UA-camr is never late, Benjamin Pfeiffer, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."
Thanks!
Damn, Peter! Thank you so much!
Recently found your channel, looking forward to following CITY along with you this season!
Thanks Issac! Welcome aboard! Are you a fellow CITY fan or a fan of another club?
@ STL fan through and through.
Vamos!
Big fan of your work. You provide a great unique POV!
Thanks Peter! What brought you to the channel? Are you a STL supporter?
Totally STLCity supporter. Went to one game and also went to USMNT friendly versus Jamaica. Will St. Louis ever get a NWSL and/or USL team?

There is so much extra demand for pro soccer here. STLCity can’t fill it.

That's awesome! Tyson is a nice guy as well.
I’m with you. I had high hopes for Kijima this season.
