Noticed you in the supporter end, glad to see you enjoyed it! As someone who’s been here from the start (worked for the stadium for the first few seasons), the orientation is so much better than it used to be. First couple seasons it ran parallel to the 3rd base line, making the $1 beer section the supporter end, while making some pretty big gaps along the sidelines. Definitely bigger crowds than we used to get before our new owners took over, for a while at the start we weren’t great on the field or in attendance, but it’s certainly looking up!
That's so good to hear about attendance going up! And you're situated in a great place behind the goal where you get that KILLER downtown backdrop, but also a lot of open areas to hopefully fill out with more ultras going forward!
Yeah I asked Denis with 83 United about that and, as you saw, he said that's the dream but it doesn't sound like anything is concrete. But Oneok is about as good as it gets for baseball stadiums masquerading as soccer pitches!
Had to see this for myself! That reminds me of the right field bull from Bull Durham! mlblogsbaseballsnatcher.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/oneok4.jpg
@@SoccerZombieSTL Notice the Vertical Art Deco stylings on that old building too. That used to be a Tulsa specialty. FC Tulsa in fact makes extensive use of it in their kit and logo design. It's really sad to see that disappear.
I am an FC Tulsa season ticket member, and I was happy to see you at the match and enjoyed the video of your visit. Based in part on your review, I bought one of the merchandise grab bags for $30. Mine contained only a $20 t-shirt (though it's a nice t-shirt.) I didn't check that until I was at home the next day, so it's kind of on me. I've been trying to see if the club will do anything for me, but no luck so far. This is just a "buyer beware" on the grab bags.
I will say that I was allowed to peek in the bags beforehand! But yeah, I guess that goes into the mystery part of it. Some times you get peanuts, sometimes you get just the shell.
@@SoccerZombieSTL Happily, the merchandise person has finally responded to my email inquiry and will get me something more at tonight's match v. LV Lights.
I like that Route 66 FC Tulsa hat. Did you buy that, or was it also in the grab bag? I didn’t see a grab bag at the OCSC match I went to, but I hope Tampa Bay has one! It’s going to be fun to collaborate with you in person!
I recognize a lot of (if not most of) the people in the supporter's section, but not that dude. The woman next to him looking uncomfortable I do know, and she was definitely not with him. Not that abusive fans aren't totally a feature of the supporter's section, particularly toward the opposing keeper. They are just usually a bit more creative and a bit less profane than that dude.
My cousin sat a few rows behind of where I was at the rail and she told me the woman kept looking back at everyone and mouthing "I'm sorry". Poor thing. Edit: I really did get a kick out of the "Who's your father" chant, but that's an example of being creative with your criticism and not "F*** YOU" basic.
I was the one next to you in the supporter end you were cool to talk to and I’ll definitely be watching these videos more and more
Thanks Ethan! It was nice to meet you!

The view is much prettier now, but I really miss the big kitchy rotating U-Haul.

It's like the old red brick homes and buildings disappearing in St. Louis in favor of modern "trendy" designs you see everywhere. Sad!

That's great!
Visit Chattanooga red wolves
They're on the list!
We do love fireworks.
I mean, the fact you're even doing them at all is impressive!
@@SoccerZombieSTL Sadly I wasn't able to do this game but I usually DJ the home matches. could of added to your vibes a little lol
A half point at least!

The Route 66 was a hat that my cousin-in-law got in his grab bag. He liked my hat, I liked his hat, so we traded!
And yeah, look forward to the Tampa collab!
@@SoccerZombieSTL nice! Cool that you have family all over you can stay with.
Well Tulsa and Tampa are basically it for the most part on my family pit stops outside of STL outside of maybe Detroit.
I want to know where to get a $1 beer that spits fire from the top of the can! Lol. Great video as always Tom :)
The $1 beer section is literally 🔥
That abusive fan should be banned. There’s no call for that.
