Brilliant, the roads in Donegal are far better than the roads you will find in the non-sovereign part of Ireland known as Northern Ireland. There is also like two flights per day to and from the capital (Dublin). A beautiful county with 1/3 people bilingual Irish speaker’s, the county is full of history and the most beautiful views. Hopefully Finn Harps and finally achieve their dream of the new stadium.

I first became interested in fan owned football clubs when Caledonian Braves and NK Tabor appeared on my Facebook feed. I haven’t bought into anything yet but this along with a couple others (Oakland Roots/Oakland Soul, Clapton CFC and AFC Wimbledon) look intriguing.
Finn harps is unusual in being a rural top flight club whereas GAA normally dominates in rural areas not soccer.The ulster scots in donegal are more or less concentrated in east donegal finn valley,though i think the fans are mixed not necessarily majority ulster scots AFAIK

You don’t really own the club, you just pay into the fund and have to renew every year to get your single vote. It’s like the Green Bay Packers “ownership” where you just donate to a nonprofit and get a tiny vote in a massive pool. Kinda misleading
