Is This The Best Upgrade You Can Get For Your 22 Civic Si?
I finally get to install my Remark Exhaust on my 22 Civic Si. I am very happy how it is sounding so far. It is very loud but fun to hear all the pops. Full throttle it sounds like a dream. I'll definitely post some shorts showing that off!

Did you get pops ?
I haven’t posted updates in a bit but yes! Lots and lots of pops and gurgles.
I cringed when he put the screws on the roof 😬
Why the cringe :(
Thank you for the review brother
Rev Hang is a feature that not everyone is as happy with as you’re. Something this video and you’re telling us about yourself is that you’re new to driving a manual transmission
Thanks for the comment. I’ve driven manual cars my whole life since I even learned how to drive. The rev hang is deff a bummer but for the normal person they won’t car the extra second. You’re not banging through gears all the time haha
Thank you only real video I could find that goes through step by step. If you made it without the music it would’ve been a perfect video. Also was there a reason why you only raised 2 wheels off the ground and not all 4? Again thank you
Thanks for the comment! Honestly it was due to not having another set of stands at the time. It deff made it harder too
No, these are not best upgrades for Civic :)
Pray tell ;)
wipers can be moved by hand
Hey are you able to use the app for both mini’s?
Hey great question! Yes it works for both.
@@letsgosergio6128 awesome thanks for the reply
Great video and explanation, but please use the correct descriptions. You kept calling things “garments” which is another word for clothing items. What you really meant was rubber bushings, rubber hangers, etc.
Thanks for letting me know!
Let's go Sergio!!!!
Did you need to re install the rubber garment holding the front pipe ? The one you said it’s difficult to remove.
Hello! Yes I did. Putting it back on wasn’t as difficult because it was already a little loose from when you remove it but it was tough because of the angle. If you can raise the car higher it would probably be easier.
@@letsgosergio6128 🤝
I used Plastidip on mine, came out great, you can also try Goof Off - works great! Emblems in black are the way to go!!! Nice work!
$100 for gloss black plastic? I bought a can of plasti dip for $10 painted the back one and removed the front one carefully
Painting them is deff an option. I just wanted them to look more professionally done is all!
Car update??
Heyo! The car is in perfect shape! I haven’t uploaded any new vids because the upgrades i want to do next are a little expensive. But with summer coming i will be posting some vides driving through some mountains!
@@letsgosergio6128 thanks for posting for the community. I learn by watching others and your videos really help me out.
@@letsgosergio6128 🙏🏻
Just try wd40 instead of goo gone or whatever is it... WD40 works so fast
Ill have to try that next time or when i change my si logo
What’s your MPG after the install ?
Hey thanks for the view! I think i lost between like 2-7 mpg depending on how aggressive i am
Little advice, never ever wash the visors with a micro cloth, scratches come on fast. Use only the palm of your hand. Dry with a leaf blower.
What if I take it through a car wash? Don’t dry it with a fiber towel?
Love the way u explain everything! Which tools/tool kit do you recommend i buy for a quicker intercooler and charge pipes install on a 11th gen si?
Honestly a general wrench kit should be fine BUT i haven’t done those upgrades so i haven’t looked into it. I would look up another youtube who has done it. I will say though having an impact gun was super helpful
Good one. Hope you could have done it in a landscape/horizontal video mode.
How much did you spend ? And where
I spent like $14 and you can usually find self wash places around your town. They are pretty common.
Sheeshh 29mpg on your Si is a little "😬" but thanks for the wiper part lol i always force my wipers a little higher until it has clearance to prop up when i clean lol
29 in the city. Im easily getting close to or over 40 on the highway :)
@@letsgosergio6128so all that 2k+ miles you drove in the city?
@@xksanity a lot of the driving i was doing then was very short less than 5 miles each way. But when I went on long trips I definitely got way higher mpg
@@letsgosergio6128 gotcha
You forgot the white zip tie my boi, it’s not glued in its zip tied, the know to the leather piece
The Civic emblem should have come with a guide template. I emailed College Hills Honda to confirm it comes with the Civic emblem and the Sport emblem, if you need that one.
Yea its not made very clear sadly :(
@@letsgosergio6128 I wonder if they started including the templates? I saw another video from 1 year ago that had them. That was the reason I emailed them. Either way yours looked good.
@@wescat2im not sure if they sent them or not. I dont think so though
@@letsgosergio6128 Either way it looked great. This is my next upgrade.
great info i didbt know
nice best way to get rid of the glue is to instead of the thick towl, use a thinner piece of material and lay it against the glue and soak the glue behind the towl catching any run off. this help let the goo gone soak in to the glue product on the paint wait a few minutes and it will come off much easier. also fishing line i found works better than dental floss for emblem removel
Thanks for the reply! The dental floss vs fishing line is personal preference. Its been pretty 50/50 from what I've seen!
👍👍
How’s the car holding up man?
Hey man! The car is 10000% perfect. Had an oil change nothing wrong. Drove up from florida to VA no porblems!
lol, that's a flat head screw driver......
Lol yea. My videos arent scripted so i probably miss spoke in the moment
Flat head screwdriver, boot “collar” (not boot), and the original boot is zip tied, not glued. But at least we can see someone else doing it first.
I would mark the position of the old emblems with painters tape to get the original location. On the front one, if you don't want to take the grille apart to get to the back, you might break the posts in the holes, so you might want to drill them out. What looks even nicer like you said is if they had black chrome Si emblems, which Honda should offer, and If there were Black Chrome Honda Mark JDM style emblems like on the Type R for the front grille, trunk lid and horn button. I have only seen chrome ones with red, blue or I think black.
What calipers on there?
Hello! Those are the stock calipers but I painted them red.
Looks great - special paint?@@letsgosergio6128
Hello what Hard Wired kit did you buy? Can you please share the link.
Waist of time he didn't have to take apart everything 😅
What brand And where can I get them?
How would Remark exhaust sound on 10th gen civic hatchback sport ?
I’m legit not sure this dude is alive anymore he hasn’t posted since posting this video.
While you were in there, do you think the shifter cage bushings could be swappable once that shift boot retainer/center console cover was unclipped and out of the way that you have sufficient access to swap the shifter cage bushings, or do you think that the entire center console needs to come out in order to do bushing swap?
It was a very tight space. Possibly if you disconnect everything there is space, I did not do that.
Wish mine came with blacked out trim
I had to manually do that myself :)
@letsgosergio6128 had to get what I could afford, and that came with that stupid crome trim on the top sides of the windows
great at explaining things in this video!! best one i’ve seen by far now i can install my front pipe knowing exactly what to do
Thanks so much!
It’s raspy
Very Raspy and loud with lots of pops
How are these holding up? Any issue with the adhesive at all?
Also whats the link?
Hello! No problem at all so far. Adhesive is still on strong. Im not affiliated with the place I got them but I will see if I can get a link for you!
@@letsgosergio6128 please thank you🙏🏼
Nice
Thanks!
All those tricks are things that your dealership should explain to you but I know not every salesman does it. Thankfully my dealership did
Thats fair!
@@letsgosergio6128good video tho! There’s a lot of people out there that didn’t know about them and your video helps
@@jesusmarmolejo352 thanks soo much! I just try to make videos people can get something out of them!
correction, "not every salesman *knows* it"
Hey did you have the PRL downpipe and frontpipe installed before you installed the remark exhaust? I have the same setup but I just could not get the PRL frontpipe to fit flush with the remark exhaust so I ended up just putting the stock frontpipe in for now.
Hi yes! I have the PRL downpipe and front pipe installed alongside the Remark Exhaust. It was a little tricky but it did fit in the end for me. What’s making yours not fit?
@@letsgosergio6128 I got the front pipe to fit with the downpipe fine, and the front pipe goes into 1 of the 2 grommet holes, I tried fitting it in both , but just could not get the front pipe to fit flush with the midpipe of the Remark exhaust. The opening on the Remark midpipe is a larger diameter than the frontpipe so I found it hard to get it to fit flush. If i try to tighten the 3 bolts, the last one would not completely bolt the two pipes flush. Should i maybe attempt to take the midpipe off the grommets and then try fitting again?
@@BlueBull81 i know when i put the exhaust on with the front pipe it was very hard to get into the garment. I had to get someone else to help me with it. If its just you doing this it might be a good idea to take it to a shop and have them do it so you dont hurt yourself or the parts
Love how you call them garments and not grommets. Not sure why you took the wheels off to put an exhaust on lol. Sounds nice though.
I took the wheels off just to be safe si ce i got under the car.
Nice video. I am sure your neighbors love you. 🙂
They dont seem to mind! They actually were talking to me how they thought it was cool that i did it myself.
