I just did this and didn’t need to disconnect any wiring harnesses. You don’t need to flip it over to do the job, just tilt it enough to turn the boot inside out, which is easy with everything still connected.
While you were in there, do you think the shifter cage bushings could be swappable once that shift boot retainer/center console cover was unclipped and out of the way that you have sufficient access to swap the shifter cage bushings, or do you think that the entire center console needs to come out in order to do bushing swap?
Thanks for the feedback! Eventually yes, i plan on putting coilovers and new wheels and tires but thats the mast thing i will do. I want to install a downpipe, exhaust system, intercooler, charge pipes, and a hondata tuner first haha

Yea it took me a little work to get mine out with everything connected
Love the Poco
Its a very nice shifter :)
I like the texture of the the SI center console vs the Integra which is glossy black. Looks like it would scratch less, I might switch mine out.
This new shift knob makes the shifts feel way shorter and more notchy. If you like that then go for it

It was a very tight space. Possibly if you disconnect everything there is space, I did not do that.
Thank you for the videos. Very informative. Are you planning on lowering the car?

@@letsgosergio6128 I’m interested in that Remark Exhaust.
@@anojanselva the remark or 27 won look like good options
You forgot the white zip tie my boi, it’s not glued in its zip tied, the know to the leather piece
Had to hurt dropping a metal object on your center console
Haha yea a little slip up.
Waist of time he didn't have to take apart everything 😅
lol, that's a flat head screw driver......
Lol yea. My videos arent scripted so i probably miss spoke in the moment
Flat head screwdriver, boot “collar” (not boot), and the original boot is zip tied, not glued. But at least we can see someone else doing it first.
do you like it better than the stock shifter?
Initiall it took some getting used to but now I love it and cant imagine it otherwise!
