Subbed. I daily a 11th gen si. And weekend my type r…I definitely understand what you mean about type r being too much for a daily driven car…the clutch on the type r is super heavy for daily stop and go traffic also the suspension is much stiffer, and the car sits lower etc…but overall I have to say type r is a dream car it’s ridiculous fast with just a few mods….been watching your videos on the si and has motivated me to add a few mods to my si..dp sounds like a first mod and possibly intake after. Wanna keep it in the 230-250 whp range so I can keep up with my friends new brz
Awesome! Eventually I will get my Si to about 300 with all the bolt ons and dyno tuned hopefully. Exhaust is next for me I think. Just waiting to see which one sounds best.
Awesome videos man, i myself have the 11th gen SI and so far have installed the PRL intake and resonator delete kit and i love it. I’ve had the car for 6 months and i already have 7300mi just because i always want to drive the car. Taking it to the canyons is awesome.
Right now i really want to get a cat back exhaust. I’m between the 27won, or MagnaFlow NEO series. Also, would you recommend getting a prl front pipe or down pipe first? I want a little bit more deeper sound.
@@felipebarrios9674 id say get the down pipe if you want to notice the difference in sound. The front pipe more or so just helps airflow but not much difference tbh
Oh dang big brakes sound awesome! Ill have to see what availability is and what i can gather up. Right now I have an exhaust and ktuner/hondata next! I want that loudness haha
Magnaflow released their exhaust a few days back and I believe axion industries has maybe one or two more options in addition to the ones you mentioned.
I am waiting for my 2023 Civic Si delivery sometime in February and this will be my first manual car. I was wondering how is the hill hold assist? I saw many Civic Si reviews but none of them mentioned the hill hold assist. Thank you for the review.
The break hold button is pretty good. I do not use but it is there. You have to turn it on every time. It isnt something that is automatically on. Itll be good for you to learn with especially on hills. It holds the break pretty much indefinitely until you accelerate I believe.
@@letsgosergio6128 I’ve got sorta the same installs as you and wanted to mention that the ktuner was a huge upgrade for power. What exhaust did you end up going with?

I have the remark on my 22 si and I love it. I’m installing the prl downpipe and front pipe soon.

did you have a burn smell after installing the downpipe? and when you shut off your car and step out you smell some type of black powder burn
I have not experienced this smell but I haven’t really been paying attention to it. Ill start paying attention and see if it does.

I can never hear the blowoff valve on mine. Guessing that's what I'm hearing. Yours is loud.
With the cobra air intake it deff became louder. I could barely hear it stock
You definitely need to get a KTuner, makes a huge difference with the tsp stage 1 tune
