My stealership was cheap and didn't include the splash guards to my 2022 Si in Blazing Orange Pearl, nor did I want to pay A LOT for them. I added these for around $91 with shipping from Majestic Honda, simple. One of the things that most surprised me was that the trunk light was incandescent. I changed to a Lasfit LED bulb, huge difference I can now see inside the entire trunk. I find it interesting that HMC would skimp on the trunk bulb $7 to $10 when the rest of the interior lights are LED.
Some of the things dealerships charge you for is ridiculous and they make it mandatory which is even more dumb. Glad you found a solution though! People are always afraid of doing things themselves like changing a light bulb haha!
@@letsgosergio6128 Not sure where you are but here in CA I had to wait a FULL YEAR (When it was released Oct 2021 and I didn't buy until Oct 2022) to find a stealership where I paid $2K over MSRP and $2.4K in Accessories. There is still stealerships near me charging $7,995 OVER MSRP "Market Adjustment" for either a 2022 or 2023 Civic Si. I drove 170 miles out of my area to buy the car too. 🙂 Added you to my channels thanks!
@@edwardinvegas When I bought might in Florida, I searched all of Florida to find something that wasn't horrible and finally settled on one. Love the car, hate that dealerships take advantage.
Stick with the red brake calipers. Those are standard for high performance OEM equipped or aftermarket brakes like Brembos. Yellow would go better with a black car, if you like that look. Personally, I don't. The black out emblemscare nice, but Honda or an aftermarket company should offer the Si emblems available to order to match the black out emblems. As far as the front Honfa H Mark emblem I would paint it gunmetal grey to contrast but not blingblike the original chrome. It would match the Boost Blue Sport Hatchback I plan to get. You could also get the Red JDM style Type R emblems for the grille trunk lid and steering wheel. The blue ones would match what I plan to get.
I think porsche puts yellow calipers on some of their oem brakes, but i agree with you about the red. it works super well on this car and the yellow wouldn't imo
Man I wish you filmed this in landscape mode lol. Love it tho
Looks cool Dude ordering my emblems & gonna do an air ride suspension for mine
Air ride sounds expensive?! Definitely let me know how that works
