Where can we found the same battery please ?

My reasons for hoping for more wattage ( legally) is to get up steep hills in my area. I have a full motorcycle licence . But not everyone does, and they shouldn't need to. But an electric bicycle is more useful in a lot of situations and helps keep fit.

Ebikes 2025 In 2025, new law will be going from 250w to 500w with speed staying at 15.5mph with a plus side being a throttle going from 3.7mph to 15.5mph the same as max speed which is good as 3,7mph is silly. They should allow whatever watt motor you want as this will not let you go any faster but get up hills easier that will assist those with health mobility issues. I have a 1000w which I bought in 2023 when I didn’t know about ebike laws. So am thinking to buy a 250w, but as this will change am holding on a little longer, I hope they can allow up to a 1000w motor before I have to sell this lovely bike for a 500w, but I think am dreaming. The laws are so harsh and unfair on those who have mobility issues or age against them. I do hope things can get better. There are many cars and motorbikes that can go over 100mph but can be driven on uk roads providing they stay within the speed limits, so it should be the same for ebikes.

Just bought one of these last weekend it will be my 1st hub drive but i wanted the torque sensor as my other bike is a converted mid drive a tongsheng tsdz2 which is torque sensing so you do need to use all the gears. The missus has a ebike which is cadence , only uses 2 gears either 3 or 4 and throttle to start off from a stop. I like the torque sensor on my mid drive so waited for them to come out on the hub as they are much quieter and not as much stress on the chain and cassette I have been looking at the engwe for a couple of years now so took the plunge last week for the pro 2.0 looked for the mirrors that you have from one of your previous videos found them on amazon but it says left side only do they come as a pair or do you buy the right one separately but cant find the right side one. I will be doing the suspension upgrade myself so will look forward to yours when you do it would you recommend the bmx bars off engwe or purchase bmx bars and stem separately cheers great vids by the way

Love the mods you did to the bike! I have one of these, and I disagree a bit with you on the torque sensor/gear setup. I ride it locked and on PA 5 it's really uncomfortable for me with the constant accelerating/deaccelerating around 25km/h. This really kills the riding experience for me. They should make a mode you can unlock it, but when you shutdown the bike and turn it back on, it's locked again.

The L20 concept is a good idea, a simple boost button when its required. And comes fitted with some decent handle bars , never liked those standard high-rise narrow bars . Have they fitted the same old rear cassette paired with the small front sprocket ?

Aye Gee, it's good to see you're still getting out and about enjoying making your video productions ! What make of tires have you got on the new Pro 2.0 , and do you feel confident riding on wet winter conditions? I really should be thinking of replacing my original set ....must be near the 2mm mark on the centre line . Also, how is the rear swing arm linkage on the 2.0 holding up? For a moment there , I thought the "Rozzers"were on your tail on hot pursuit 😂

Really like those bikes looking at getting a EBike after years of normal ones but some want to enter the TT on one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Fast enough

This l20 boost or a crazybird jumper for country roads ?

Is this button not just another way of disguising a throttle.

So if you use the boost button for 20 seconds to get going, do you then still have to wait 5 minutes before using again. Or is it just of you use it for the whole minute? Thanks

Have you seen that guy on UA-cam who has managed to register a 750w cyrusher ebike as a 28mph electric moped. Didn’t think it was possible but if you look up the plate on dvla site it indeed says the manufacturer is cyrusher.

Only just got home, but have already '👍Liked' as I know it is going to be another great review. Am going to enjoy watching it now as I munch my late dinner... Just hope it is as compelling an offering as it looks on paper - as I hope to have saved up the readies by Spring...🤞 Love the idea of that 'Boost' button - as it can give an old chunky boomer like me the extra oomph when most needed - and get out of any sticky situations. Other than that I am happy to just pootle around to help increase range. Was very impressed with the effortless way it got you up those hills - especially 'Orrible Hill'. It also seems pretty quiet - or is that just your magically optimised mic system? 😂 Looks like I will definitely need to upgrade the brakes to hydraulics though - as I am about 10lbs heavier than you, and also want to use it to carry the weekly shopping... Well I have now finished my food and your review. As you know I was really excited about this one a few months back. And after your excellent review I am totally sold. So many thanks again mate - and I could tell how much you were enjoying doing this review by the way you were effortlessly cruising around, even over those water logged fields. Man, I want the m20 or the PVY x20 maybe better : because that one already have hydraulics. Seen this other video, also of an Engwe m20 with a mid motor added. That motor broke after 15 miles or something. But besides that, The mid motor uses the bike chain if I am correct? Personally I found these multi gear bike chains way too thin and weak already for a much heavier fatbike . When they usually are good for (ultra) lightweight race bike. Don’t know how it’s called in English, over here we literally call them race bikes. On a normal Dutch bicycle the chain is much thicker and stronger. So how does yours hold? No issues with that?

I've recently got an e26, and know about +- for 3 sec, then + for 15 sec. However , is there any way of setting the max speed while it is unlocked? If I only want it to go 30km/h? Or if I want the throttle to be engaged with speed locked to 25km/h and don't want 63km/h. I don't seem to be able to do that.

The laws make sense if there actually was cycling infrastructure in U.K. The laws work perfectly fine in the Netherlands.

This is very similar geometry to a 2021 Giant mid drive i looked at in a local cycle store, but post Covid , and a worldwide shortage of Shimmano parts were pushing the prices upwards from £2799 and you still had 6 months waiting for delivery So if i wasn't riding my 20inch Pro, Then im sure this would be my choice today, those 26 inch wheels would definitely give you the travel and speed without all the leg input of the 20x4 wheels !

Excellent in-depth review. Did yours come with a rear rack? The P20 i see for sale now does not have a rear rack, i wonder what rear rack would be compatible with it.

My battery meter on my bike got a mind of its own 😂 I can climb a massive steep mountain over 25% and not lose a bar 😮 next time I can lose a bar going out my street lol

Thanks for the review. I'm thinking of getting a bike after Christmas when I'll have some money to spend. This bike looks like one I need consider (plenty of hills around here plus even the roads resemble being off-road with their potholes). I'd go for the step-through though, swinging my leg over isn't an option.

I've had my E26 step thru for 3 months now and I love it. I'm 78 yrs old and had an e-bike (Batribike) for 6 yrs but 2 yrs ago I had to give up cycling because of a medical issue. I'm ok now and needed to get back on the bike again as I missed cycling. Back to your review and how this bike manages hills. My local area I have climb 400ft over 3/4mls and this bike just sails along. I couldn't believe it when I first did it. I've made rubber mud flaps to extend the mudguards which has made a big difference on the wet and mud. I've also fitted turn indicators front and rear which is a boon in traffic. I'm also glad that I kept my old Hornit horn from my old bike. It's loud, very loud and I recommend it.
