Only just got home, but have already '👍Liked' as I know it is going to be another great review. Am going to enjoy watching it now as I munch my late dinner... Just hope it is as compelling an offering as it looks on paper - as I hope to have saved up the readies by Spring...🤞 Love the idea of that 'Boost' button - as it can give an old chunky boomer like me the extra oomph when most needed - and get out of any sticky situations. Other than that I am happy to just pootle around to help increase range. Was very impressed with the effortless way it got you up those hills - especially 'Orrible Hill'. It also seems pretty quiet - or is that just your magically optimised mic system? 😂 Looks like I will definitely need to upgrade the brakes to hydraulics though - as I am about 10lbs heavier than you, and also want to use it to carry the weekly shopping... Well I have now finished my food and your review. As you know I was really excited about this one a few months back. And after your excellent review I am totally sold. So many thanks again mate - and I could tell how much you were enjoying doing this review by the way you were effortlessly cruising around, even over those water logged fields. Great bike, and great video - continuously upping the quality of your content. And a BIG KUDOS for suggesting the Boost button over a year ago - somehow missed that one. Sadly, although Santa won't be able to get me one for Xmas - all being well come the spring, I will thinking of you every time I press that magic 'Boost' button...😂
@@terrypolden1030 don’t forget the discount code in the video description then … then Engwe can pay me a few shekels for a beer. 😂 You too buddy. You’ll love this bike. I do.
The L20 concept is a good idea, a simple boost button when its required. And comes fitted with some decent handle bars , never liked those standard high-rise narrow bars . Have they fitted the same old rear cassette paired with the small front sprocket ?
@@thaiuk it’s there because there’s no accessible hole on the right and if I have it the right way up I can’t see behind me because I’m so broad. But yeah, great.
@@ModProjects4306 Thanks . Just had our second boost delivered yesterday .so impressed with bike quality /packing . I did get a bar end mirror for that side but your option both sides looks better . And on the throttle side I think it is capped inside maybe
So if you use the boost button for 20 seconds to get going, do you then still have to wait 5 minutes before using again. Or is it just of you use it for the whole minute? Thanks
Have you seen that guy on UA-cam who has managed to register a 750w cyrusher ebike as a 28mph electric moped. Didn’t think it was possible but if you look up the plate on dvla site it indeed says the manufacturer is cyrusher.
@ he had to add a bunch of things that mopeds require. And will need to ride around with L plates as he says he has no license to ride anything. I can’t imagine seeing an ebike with a reg and L plates 😂.
@@ramborambokitchenkitchen6357yeah u have to add indicators, proper headlight, and rear brake light, still need a learners licence to ride one, and you can only go on certain roads, no motorways. In one way its worth it the only pay out is the insurance yearly but that wont be much and you can throttle it.
@@MarKQrTY does a throttle turn off after a minutes use? This is about increased torque not about being a throttle. A throttle has adjustable speed, this is on or off.
Thank you very much for sharing this information with us 👍🏻
thay should do that to all e-bikes boost button really clever idea great vids mod 👍👍👍👍

The mirror on the right side is it actually the left fitting side upside down ..and how do you find the mirrors . Cheers .....

This l20 boost or a crazybird jumper for country roads ?
@@GaryMacKenzie how would know? Crazybird jumper sounds like an item of clothing.
Is this button not just another way of disguising a throttle.

@ModProjects4306 so if you press the button without pedaling it does nothing? Was thinking about upgrading from my normal L20.

How can that be legal, it goes more than 15.5 mph. Lol. Nice bike. 😊😊
