Currently I am watching Perfect Strangers, I Love how with so few cast members the show feels real and down to earth funny. Shows you that it doesn't take much for chemistry and well written scripts to combine to make people feel so much better!
This show can never be revived, the freedom they had to say what they said is long gone.
I love the MASH TV show.
👍
Love John Cullum !!! He is the Perfect Actor !!! He has given outstanding ,Great Performances ,for all His Life ! He is Amazing on Stage ! A thrill to watch !!! Miss Him on Broadway !❤❤❤❤
👍
Linville was a great acting talent and integral to the early series. Mostly portraying Burns snide, self-interested and bullying insecure character, he on occasion could pull the heart strings when his script allowed. Sadly, I gather that the booze was an issue, yet his screen work was faultless.
Agree with you 💯%
They were so cute and I loved the show! Didn’t know they were the sisters to Katie Segal though. Thanks for update. Would love a recent pic!
👍
I loved her character on Life Goes On especially her love story with Chad Lowe's Jesse.
👍
A lot of actors from MASH were in Trapper John.
👍
I loved her character.
Me too!
I think they should move it to another network maybe CBS or NBC or even Fox. ABC made a big mistake of canceling the show. We could’ve gotten like six more seasons and imagine if the girls growing up and one of the babies will be aged up just like most TV sitcoms
Agreed!
I was lucky enough to see Hal Linden & Marylu Henner today in the final off-bway show of The Journals of Adam & Eve. Kudos to them both!!!! 7/28/2024
How is Marylu looking these days?
@@stephensundstrom6379 She still has the body of a dancer. Her delivery was great!
I thought it was on for 4 seasons
👍
They are so cute
Agreed!
The camera loved Christa Miller--prettiest face and coolest personality on TV back then. Now she's had "the works" done. So sad. Why do naturally beautiful women do that to themselves? :-(
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I too love Bill’s work. He’s a comic genius and one of the all time greats. Love Dreyfuss as well. But yes I believe that Bill can be a real SOB in real life. Just too too many stories to be ignored or disbelieved. Harold Ramis by all accounts was just a wonderful, caring and agreeable fellow. And to think that Bill got him so so angry that he blew up that way is just another testimonial to Bills volatile and inappropriate behavior.
👍
I watched this show but mainly because these two gals were so damn cute!
👍
The NE reruns (series) is on Amazon Prive. I am loving watching the whole thing again. Too bad they didn't pony up the money for Rob Morrow, the series would have gone on for many more years.
👍
I’m two years late but I got 10 correct out of 10. Great video and I love Ghostbusters ❤
Great job! Thanks for watching my video!
I was so sad that this show was cancelled. Was my favorite show as a kid. Bad move by ABC as the other shows bombed. They should have brought it back.
👍
I thought she was adorable
Agreed!
This and Mannequin 2 are the two things I remember him from
👍
When you think he studied aeronautical engineering and also attended RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) that he was not only a very clever man, but to get into RADA on a scholarship, you really have to show potential. Apparently, there's an intake of 40 students every year - 20 men and 20 women, and there would be hundreds trying to get in. The likes of Lawrence Olivier, Ralph Richardson, Richard Attenborough, and so much more famous actors attended RADA.
Thanks for sharing these additional insights!
He was great on that show! Married with Children and It's Your Move!
👍
Great video..great show!
Thanks!
He made mash funny. The show suffered when he left...
👍
Steve: Yes I would say that Maurice Minnifield was his best role. Northern Exposure was ground breaking Dramedy. Screams for a reboot But I dont think it could be done. Loved that he wore a NASA hat in every episode. Corbin was also great in The Closer, playing guest role as Brenda Lee Johnson's father.
👍
This is one of my favorite adventure movies to watch after school on HBO. Its so underrated.
👍
Wow. I've heard about Barry Corbin many times and he was just about everywhere when it came to starring in films and television series of all kinds. But yes, he was mostly known for starring as Maurice Minnifield in the hit television show titled "Northern Exposure" which ran from 1990 to 1995. Here is a little fun fact about Barry Corbin that I just found out. Did you actually know that Barry Corbin made a guest star appearance on M*A*S*H back in 1981? Barry Corbin had played a role of Sergeant Joe Vickers who was a pushy retention officer that came to the camp to persuade a depressed Maxwell Klinger as well as the rest of the staff members to extend their terms of service by re-enlisting and so forth. All of this had happened during the show's ninth season and it is on the seventh episode titled "Your Retention, Please". That was the one and only episode of M*A*S*H where Barry Corbin had starred in as a guest star but his appearance on M*A*S*H was very underrated. Other than that, this wonderful actor has been everywhere and he was a legendary star in many different ways. Great video as always.
Thanks John! I do remember that episode of M*A*S*H, and agree, he was great in it!
She was def part of my childhood. Anybody remember the movie "Lucky Stiff"? Thats the one where she was a part of a family of cannibals and she convinces her new heavy set boyfriend played by Joe Alaskey (voice of Daffy/Plucky Duck) to join them for dinner...little does he know he'll be the main course!
I don’t remember that movie! I’ll have to check it out!
@@stephensundstrom6379 If its too hard to find otherwise, I believe theres a UA-cam channel that has it. Its pretty funny.
@@stephensundstrom6379 Its kind of a difficult movie to find but I do believe there may be an upload here on UA-cam if its not taken down yet.
Very beautiful woman. I hear Donna and her husband are no longer together. I have a chance at last.
Good luck with that 😉
he was in a couple mission impossible episodes as. well
👍
Life is strange. Someone canceled his life as a full time actor. I wonder who ever made that decision was written out of something he wanted to do.
Great point!
I found him a wonderful character and the show in general took on, what I feel, was a better, fuller and more meaningful show. I think they needed the change from more of a school ground humour to the thought provoking themes. And credit to Linville who chose to exit at the appropriate time. That took confidence and courage
👍
I remember the episode, although I didn't realize Tom Hanks played the guy. I never understood why Fonzie put up with that guy's crap when he would've laid him out in the earlier seasons.
I wondered the same thing!
Out of all the shows to reboot, Night Court was the absolute worst choice!! The original show was gut busting funny! Knowing you can't tell those jokes anymore because of woke culture, the reboot is is beyond boring. Not to mention, 98% of the cast has passed. They should have made a reunion show 20 years ago while they were all still here but Richard Mull told TMZ that would NEVER happen. How sad that it didn't. 😢
I love John Larroquette, but must agree with you. The reboot is pretty boring.
Vito Fonzarelli was a coward for not at least having the decency to tell Fonzie F2F who he was and taking whatever Fonzie would've doled out to him like a man.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Loved Double Trouble! I was around 7/8 when this aired. I don’t remember it being cancelled but did wonder what happened to it. I found out they were related to Katey years after! But they look so much like their sister Katey.
👍
N.E. was one of my favorites😊 loved everyone. Watched all when it was aired. Watching again, what fun.
👍
As a retired Cop i loved it in the late 70s and reruns now. Humanizes Police.
👍
Alan Alda is central to how well-developed M*A*S*H. But the whole cast was terrific, and I love how Larry Linville gave himself fully to Maj. Burns, even though Burns was a nut. If I have to pick my favorite performer on M*A*S*H, I'd choose the whole cast.
They were all great! Agreed!
The mention of a reboot scares me. 'Can't catch lightning in a bottle " comes to mind. I thought NE was one of the best shows ever on television and it had its time. Please post here if you think of a favorite show of yours that actually enjoyed a wonderful second life. I know there are some.
👍
Shelley Duvall has passed away. May she rest in peace.1949-2024. 😢♥🌹🙏
❤️
It seems to me he was seen on Band Of Brothers or Saving Private Ryan, or it was a similar movie where he drove up in a jeep to deliver a message.
He was in Casualties Of War.
@@stephensundstrom6379 Thanks for the info.
They never called Col. Potter Sherman, except for a few dramatic scenes, nor did they call him Charlie or Chuck, it was always Colonel and Charles. That's because they commanded the respect they were due.
👍
Northern shirt was one of my most favorite TV. I wish that they would bring it back instead of the garbage that they show now from back then..
👍
Ed’s film was something else. I loved the series.
👍
Oh!! I Love that picture of Tootie, Blair & Mrs. Garrett!! I mean Kim Fields, Lisa Welchel & Charlotte Rae!! They all look GREAT! 💗💗💗
👍
The character Marilyn was the best. then Ruth Ann. The rest were all psychotic
Marilyn was one of the best, for sure!
This go-round on TV Land I've been paying attention, and yes, you almost always see her in the background, in crowd shots, in the operating room, at the movies, etc. I remember one early scene at the movies where she's sitting next to Radar, and gazing at him almost adoringly. I couldn't help wondering if that was her idea or the directors? And yes, I loved the episode "Hey, Look Me Over" with Hawkeye telling her that she was everything she said she was. And how she had the date with the colonel's aide. One of my favorite scenes was the one were they were trying to literally beat the clock to put in a heart arterial graft in a soldier and she brought what grafts they had to Hawkeye and he told her "These's are spaghettini, I need rigatoni, and she replied "Doctor, I'm part Polynesian and part Chinese, could you put that in ethnic measurements I can understand". "A small egg roll" "That I understand, we don't have any".
