I consider myself an expert in M*A*S*H trivia but always learn something new when you and your brother make a video about this timeless classic. Thanks for the video Steve!

I remember the episode where a patient insisted on a transfusion from a white person. After the surgery, Hawkeye and Trapper told him they weren't able to and pranked him to think he was changing race. Ginger says something like, "Way to go, brother you fooled them. It says you're white". She was in on the gag.

Ahoy S.S.! We are again brought together to reflect on our old friend M*A*S*H‼️ I'm so glad that you continue to crank out excellent videos about M*A*S*H‼️ Thank you for turning me on to the M*A*S*H Matters podcast. Jeff Maxwell and Ryan Patrick do a wonderful job. I particularly enjoyed an episode featuring Jamie Farr. Jamie made sure to point out how important people like Jeff Maxwell, Kellye Nakahara, and Dennis Troy were to the show. I would like to add a few more names to that list - Odessa Cleveland, Timothy Brown, Patrick Adiarte and John Orchard‼️🇺🇸📺🎬😷🤕⛑️🚑🚁🪂🎙🎺🍻🍸

This is another great video of you talking about M*A*S*H. Basically, I don't know too much about Odessa Cleveland or her recurring character of Lieutenant Ginger Bayliss but I can tell you a thing or two. All I know is that Lieutenant Ginger Bayliss was one of those few nurses to have a recurring and speaking role in the series as the same character. She had appeared to be a competent nurse who is well-liked by the medical staff but occasionally runs afoul of Major Frank Burns who blames her for his mistakes, leading to Hawkeye and Trapper coming to her defense by pulling pranks on Frank. Ginger Bayliss was a Regular Army Lieutenant who was not a stickler for rules or military discipline just like Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan. She was frequently seen fraternizing with Trapper and Spearchucker, even playing a game of "strip dominoes" with the latter in the first season episode titled "Chief Surgeon Who?". Sadly, Odessa Cleveland had left M*A*S*H way too soon and her last appearance was in the season 4 episode titled "The Late Captain Pierce". However, it is great to see that Odessa Cleveland is still alive today even though she retired from acting in 1986. Otherwise, great video as always.

Odessa Cleveland was a good actress who gave her heart & humor to the role of Lt. Ginger Bayliss despite the fact that she was the only major Black recurring character on M*A*S*H. Wish they could've given her a lot more to do. She & the late Kellye Nakahara (Nurse Kellye) were the best! Glad she chose a much different path in life after leaving the show & the acting business behind. I hope wherever she is today that she is doing okay & living her life far away from the spotlight. Thanks Steve & keep the M*A*S*H content coming! 👍🏻 I have a super interesting suggestion for you. Would you please consider doing a "Whatever Happened To..." profile of actress Nikki Cox (Unhappily Ever After; Las Vegas) in a future video?

Thanks for the info! I like the first three seasons of M*A*S*H (when the emphasis was more on comedy rather than drama). Ensemble casts or not, I will admit I have a problem with women being outnumbered by men in a four-to-one ratio or even higher than that, and no, it doesn't always work. A few years ago, your older brother Dave posted a video discussing the reason behind Melinda Culea's exit from The A-Team. From the beginning, George Peppard didn't want a woman as a regular cast member. (I'd like to see your take on Culea's departure.)

I assume she played a different character in Trapper John, since that show is technically not a spin-off of the TV version of MASH.

A lot of actors from MASH were in Trapper John.
