I was psyched for Its Your Move as well.. Jason stole every scene on Silver Spoons.. A Eddie Haskell 2.0, but he obviously had the talent to maintain..

I remember "It's Your Move" but never copied any of the antics. I thought it was wonderful that the producers of Married With Children liked David so much that they had episodes written just for him to come back as a guest star.

@@stephensundstrom6379 David Garrison was also in a Married With Children backdoor pilot Radio Free Trumaine which would have followed Bud's life in college. Steve would have been the Dean of Students. The spinoff never went beyond the backdoor pilot episode. 🏫🔔🧑🎓📚

Love Steve & Jefferson! Each brought a lot to MWC and evolved throughout the course of the series' 11-season run. Both characters were unique in their own ways. But Jefferson was my favorite. Steve was awesome too. I can't really compare & contrast to be honest. I don't really blame David Garrison for leaving after season 4 at the height of its popularity to pursue a Broadway career, but decades later, I felt like he made the right call. It's clearly not for you to understand. Married with children is an all time tv, sitcom classic. It has a huge following. He knew he messed up by leaving. That's why he kept coming back to the show.
