@@hamish2202 I got the pulleys from an online parts supplier called Surplus Center.. V-Belts will also work and lots of people use them . I think any configuration 18” pulley will work as long as it’s built well and strong. @@Candoguy I have a 2500 with a Diesel. It pulls the trailer really good, but you can tell it’s behind it. Empty it weighs close to 5000lbs. I’m sure a 1/2 ton would pull it, but you may be limited to how much you can haul in it weight wise

I never started the saw without the bark box on it. So I’m hopeful it never had to relearn for it and adjusted for it right out of the gate. Im about to send it off to 309 Machine for a port job on it. If you haven’t already, check out @765Guys UA-cam channel. He just had his 462 and 500i ported 🔥

I haven’t put one out recently. I’ve been really busy with a lot of other things and haven’t been able to dedicate any time to it. I do have it tracking with a blade on it. I’m 95% done and about ready to run it through log for first time. Keep looking out for it and we’ll see how it goes 🤞🏻

Good to hear from you Al. I’ve been really busy with all sorts of things here lately and unfortunately haven’t had much time to work on firewood/kiln related things. Hoping it slows down a little this winter and I can get back to finishing up these few things I’ve got on the back burner. I’m optimistic that the kiln will work based on what I’ve read. Take Care!

I actually mis-spoke in the video about the 9” mark. I actually fill it to 7” to get just over .75 cu ft. I do usually go over that mark just a little so the customer always gets what they’re paying for 👌🏻

I like the 2ft sides myself.. it’s easier to load. If I used it specifically for trash or debris removal I might consider the 3ft sides but with firewood and gravel I like the smaller sides..

@@McKameyFarms yes sir, mostly from Knoxville (Halls) but my dad was a banker and worked all over East Tennessee it seemed like! Went to first grade at Lake City Elementary when he worked at Bank of Oak Ridge branch there, haha. My most vivid memory is watching Star Wars in the theater when I lived there!

Yep, we rode it out instead of fighting all the evacuation traffic from Tampa. Never lost power and slept through most of it. I’m optimistic the campground will sell some wood 👌🏻

We’ve had a good cool snap so it’s got everyone’s mind on fires the last week. Had a busy weekend delivering 👍🏻

I’ve moved a lot of wood this weekend. The cool snap definitely got the wheels rolling. The bundles are .75 cu/ft. Some may be just a tad bigger but the mark on my Bundler is for 0.75

It’s a love hate relationship. Sometimes it gets really stringy and hard to separate. It’s some really good wood though. I appreciate you subbing 👍🏻
