- Another Rainy Day splitting session, today it's Cherry. Most of this will be sold for bulk smoker wood, but some of the really nice splits will be used for filler wood in Bundled Firewood.

What a clever idea you had. That auto return stop really has to save you some time. I would always have to try and time it so it didn't return all the way back, then have to wait for it to make it to the next split. Nice job!

Having the wood building is perfect, I split wood because I need it and want to sell it but most of all it's because I enjoy doing it! You can have a little stockpile of rounds stacked up ready and save them for a "rainy day", that's awesome! Have a great weekend-Tony
The woodbarn has definitely been nice. It allows me to work in the rain and keep things in the dry and available to work on at about anytime. It’s enjoyable to me as well! Rewarding work 😊 I appreciate it Tony and hope your weekend is great as well
Pouring rain here today but we definitely need it! Hoping to get my burn pile burnt this weekend🤞 Gotta love that cherry👍👍
It’s finally dried up some this week, it’s been fairly warm too. Back to winter next week for us next week I think 🤣 in the 40’s and hard freezes 🤷🏼♂️

Thanks Tom! I try to keep things as tidy as I can. Being dry under the wood barn roof is nice but it can get a little cramped so I try to keep it semi-organized. I’m using a GoPro 9 in 4K

Yea, I shouldn’t complain about it. We could be in a drought, it’s been pretty wet and nasty here for what seems like weeks. Hoping you can get some rain soon

I sell the bulk wood as smoker wood (by the face cord) to a certain customer. The barkless splits I will use as bundled grade wood. It’s light and makes good filler wood for the bundles
