I think in the same lines as you! It’s hard work but I enjoy it. You just made this job easier having the tractor to haul whole logs out! Nice work Brandon👊🏻
I definitely enjoy the outdoors time! Also gives me a sense of accomplishment. The tractor is definitely my best friend here. Can get these logs drug out and piled up for quick, easy retrieval.
You put in some work Brandon, Nice job. I'm with you on your philosophy about firewood. Like you, I enjoy it,... some parts of it more than others 😉😂 Your a pleasure to follow along with!!
The ol ‘Kubota has definitely been a helping hand! 😅 Getting some pretty good piles of wood gathered up. There’s definitely some ups and downs with firewood but it’s pretty rewarding in the end 👍🏻 I greatly appreciate you following along 👌🏻🔥🪵
Nice video, you did a great job showcasing the effort needed to untangle a tree pile just to get the good stuff out! Been there, done that, doing similar stuff right now.
I appreciate it. It’s definitely tedious work to pick out the good stuff! I really wish I could’ve gotten over there when the loggers were on site before they left it 😖
I need to be more selective when I’m cutting. I harvest everything and don’t need more uglies. Great that you’re close to home. You’re picking up some nice logs and once you get them busted open they will dry way quicker than green wood. Great job and I think you’re doing the right thing cleaning up what was left to rot. Later and keep at it. Al
With so much wood over there, I can really pick and choose what I want to mess with. It should definitely be dry enough to sale this coming winter 👍🏻👍🏻
Having that tractors game changer that’s a nice size how many horsepower is that I had a third function valve installed on mine so I can use a grapple bucket in the front only used it a few times
It definitely helps! It’s an 85HP. We mostly use it to bale hay with. It’s a little big sometimes, but the 4wd makes up for it! I would definitely like to get a grapple for it one day!
@@McKameyFarms that's 85? Holy 💩!! It's tiny. My big one is 95 and much bigger. CIH, case actually, 1896 mfwd and cab. That's what the tire went on. Fronts are 14.9-28.
Careful of the tires, not cheap anymore. My last one was $1200 3 or 4 yrs ago. But, it was a 18.4-38 radial. Take busted and knotty, good firewood. You're gonna enjoy that score next year too. Forgot the most important thing, getting away from people for awhile
I always worry about the tires! Especially on the Kubota. That and running a stick through the radiator😮💨 Yes, I forgot about the getting away from people and the peace and quiet of the woods 👍🏻👍🏻
It’s going pretty well so far. Making a lot quicker progress this way for sure.. so far everything has looked pretty good inside 🤞🏻 Have a great week Del 🔥🪵🚜🇺🇸
Pretty nice logs coming out of the scrap piles! Definitely worth it especially when it’s close to home. Great work Brandon👍👍
I’m definitely finding some decent firewood logs mixed in with the trash. Good size for splitting and pretty straight. And yes.. close to home 👌🏻

That’s a great pile of logs you got going!
Thanks Mike! It’s definitely a good start to restocking the woodyard! Hopefully many more loads to come. Have a great week

Good day of work. Makes me wanna get out there. LOL
There’s still a lot of wood over there. Just getting to it is the hard part 😅

Looks like you brought the right tool for the job, love that big kubota. Have a good week Brandon!
Thanks Genin! The 4WD definitely helps dragging that bigger stuff around out of the thick! Have a good week as well. 🔥🪵
Keep up the nice work. Pretty soon you’ll be so big there will be no need to comment. All the best.
I appreciate the kind words Stan. And thank you for subscribing to the channel! I’ll try to keep the good content coming 👍🏻

Nice work Brandon. Salvaged some good wood.
Some pretty good wood so far 🤞🏻 Good manageable sizes and fairly easy to get.. Hoping for some more good weather

its nice
Thank you 👍🏻
Hey Brandon , you are getting some fine logs from that ridge . Great idea to load them on the dump truck and get them home . 👍🏻🇺🇸🪵

Nice pile, best friend is the tractor, need tractor therapy one and a while 👍🚜🚜🪵🔥🇨🇦🇱🇷
Thanks Len! The tractor is definitely a mans best friend in this case! Makes things a whole lot easier. Have a great week
