Thanks @TheApothecaryAus understandable perspective. The report is completed and is with the ACC still. They've not released it, not due to the great performance of Super Therm but due to their own internal requirements. This was the email back from the ACC "I have been following up with my Associate Director as to whether we can provide you with a copy of the full report and the advice I have is that we are not yet able to release the whole report." 29 November, 2023. I can assure you the reports are independent and we've not seen anything and kept arms length from the process due to integrity of the organisations and results. Despite everything, I can assure you all information, testing, reports, results and other case studies on our website are 100% legitimate. @moorechez67 Super Therm is a very tough coating. An epoxy top coat will really protect it however it's designed as a industrial coating. So far a test we're undertaking is 34 years and had about 15% loss of efficiency. It is tested to 100km/hr driving rain as well and fire resistant to 160°C.

@ncooty thanks. It's 4 ceramics with a good blend of binding agents designed for industrial use and proven for over 30 years. It is breathable but has been ASTM tested to block up to 100km driving rain.

This was purely a video showing the reduced condensation effect on the Super Therm coated bottle and the unprotected bottle. Just a visual representation. It wasn't designed as a scientific test. Condensation is an interesting subject though. Super Therm blocks heat transfer. This means the surface of the bottle it's protected doesn't heat up quickly. This means it eases into ambient temperatures. Block the rapid heat transfer with 4 ceramics and strong binding urethane means we block heat load and transfer is only 4%. A good thick coating of Super Therm will significantly block the heat transfer, therefore significantly reducing condensation.

We understand that @ncooty. For sure. However in the field and trying to both apply and record is difficult. We've found the value in both lab and field testing. This combination validate each other. Heat is very important to understand. Heat combinations of UV 3%, Visual 44 % (White) and 53% Infrared are treated on different wave lengths. A white car is hotter because the metal loads the unblocked infrared heat 53%. Block ALL the heat on any surface and it should remain near ambient and the coating shows durability with other significant benefits. Blocking Heat Load is the Key and infrared red is 53% of the heat load...most white heat reflective paints don't block infrared heat. Super Therm blocks 96.1% total solar radiation.

Do you have a distributor in Portugal or Spain ?

We've tested both options including painting the back of the panel. This didn't work as the heat needs to transfer through the panel. We did find that having the roof cool with Super Therm was the best. Reducing the microclimate temperature around the panel improved the efficiency on hot days. The hotter the less effective panels are because the roof gets hot as well. Worse if you have a dark coloured roof. You can't paint the top of the panel because Super Therm is opaque (white). Want better performance, have a light coloured roof. Even better yet Super Therm blocks the infrared heat load into the roof therefore keeping the air cool.

Thanks Super Therm works on the principle of reflecting heat back to the source. It has been designed as a solar heat block coating. As heat goes to the cold where you want the heat to be pushed back to the source Super Therm has proven benefits.
