  • Today it’s a 16 degree day as we’re applying Super Therm to a brick wall. These temperatures demonstrate what heat load is.
The Super Therm wall is near ambient at 17°
The grey car is 30 to 31 degrees
Black car is 41 degree on a 16 deg day..imagine summer as the heat is loading into the metal
White is 23° but still absorbing the infrared heat and loading.
It really does prove that colour makes a major difference with heat absorption and heat load.
It’s a cool and cloudy day today but all the infrared heat is going straight into those dark colours
On a previous 20° day the uncoated wall was 36°
Super Therm is the only ceramic solar heat block coating in the world that has 4 ceramics and one stops heat load keeping temperatures near ambient like this wall.
It also stops 99.5% of the infrared heat loading and works while dirty therefore stopping the transfer of heat inside.
So from 17° on the wall to 41° on the black car on a 16° day is crazy.
It really shows how much heat metal absorbs...imagine having a dark galvanised roof on your home.
So if you want to stop heat load, Super Therm ceramic coating has Australia’s highest rating of 96.1 total solar reflectance is the one to do it!
