No upgrades to the wire. Mine already had 10 gauge installed. All of the connections to mine are under the driver's side belly up front. I opened everything and double checked the connections before adding the panels. I will be replacing the flexible panel from the factory, but I won't do that until the fall.

@@HugDeeznueces it packs into about the size of the seat. Roughly 20"x25"x15" and weighs 14lbs. It has backpack straps when folded so you can carry it on your back. It is a massive box, but it doesn't have to be.

@@davideastwood6089 what doesn't work about it? If you have the proper cord hooked into your panel/house circuit, it should work. You may have a faulty generator.

@@SuperOrion1977 mine was that way when I first set it up, but I loosened everything and was able to get a little more by pulling up on the rack while tightening everything back up. It's still not a lot, but it doesn't catch dirt and mud like it was originally doing.

@@RoadandReel oh ok, yea it’s happened about 3 times and I’ve tightened them down all the way and it’s still moving kinda lost on what to do now lol!

@@ianramirez3364 there's a hole in the inner fender shroud. Can you try to use that to wire tie it into place using the reservoir line? It could also be the internals that are forcing it to rotate. Maybe let it rotate again, then loosen the reservoir and move it back in place.

I think the spade connections get loose through vibrations over time and that causes it to break connection.

They're a great rod to begin with IF you can get one sized properly.

@@RoadandReel I have one as my backup. I dont trout fish enough to justify 2 decent rods (maybe once or twice a year on vacation, no trout in FL) but im also not going out without a backup just in case.

@@richpaul6806 yeah, I just did a rafting trip and my reel failed. I should have had a backup, but I left it in the truck. Luckily it happened towards the end of the trip.

@@RoadandReel yep. I keep a cheap piscifun sword in my bag too. Again, id rather put money in my main rod for something not used often (I have a decent salt backup) but you need something just in case

@@MasterOfNone585 I just wrapped a Bungie around mine and I don't have any issues. It rides in my trailer and I've never had the grates or anything bounce out, but I can see your concern.

@@1lacsd I'm not saying you're wrong, but I had day, time and location and it was zip tied to the antler of the deer. I was only missing my survey information that is also filled out online. The DA told me it should have been fine, but that officer has a history like this.

If you are planning to release, I like to throw a mini jig or tube jig on 1/16oz head. Nice tails also work really well along with rooster tails. Fish the edge of the runs with the rooster tails and the deeper runs with the jigs.

@@SaraShepherd-nu6jf you'll pass a lot of creeks on the way there that are good. Peppermint is also a pretty good creek to fish, or at least it was. It pushed a lot of fish out with the major snow melt last year, but I think they're coming back. There's a 4 mile trail that follows along from lower to upper and many of the deeper runs hold fish.

Yeah, they're probably one of the top baits. Right now, mini jigs and rooster tails are also working well.

Brush Creek was a favorite of mine. It's still good, but now it's a day use only.

They're regular salmon eggs, but they're a little bigger and softer. Those are small split shots.

I loved it when they allowed dispersed camping. You could camp right down by the water pretty much anywhere. I guess the trash and vandalism got out of hand and that's why they started closing down areas. They're supposed to open all of the designated campgrounds up again this year, but we'll see.

@RoadandReel yeah I had a shock when I went out there and found out I couldn't camp there anymore. Ended up driving as up as far as the gas took me there's another little spot by a creek idk the name of it but if you take a right after the "y" intersection you'll see an area that opens up if you drive slowly you'll see a dirt road if you take it pretty slow you can make it down no problem. My second favorite spot
