I thought mine had trouble randomly dropping temp because of a glitch but after seeing this, i am thinking it might be the motor. I agree the app is not the best. Usually it works perfectly, sometimes it wont let me switch between grill, smoke, and warm up and i have to play with the buttons on the grill itself. But i agree with your high points, and it is tough to beat the price.

Ah, mine does exactly the same thing. Worked for about 15 hours and now it is too weak and keeps jamming in the tube.

Mine is still going strong after replacing it. I just got the replacement from Nexgrill about two weeks ago.

Also, you might be able to open the motor and press the gear back in place. That's what happened to mine.
