Hi I have recently put a new tailgate on my t4 I had to cut the old wires on the old tailgate. Iv fitted the new tailgate How do I go about wiring? Any advice please? Thanks

Hi I am thinking about getting front fog spot lights fitted to my 1997 vw transporter campervan where did you get the low profile switch from thanks Stephen

So what year van is this that needs the tank dropping?....my 2002 2.5 T4 has access to the sender through a plate in the floor by the handbrake so no need to remove the main tank as the sender can be taken out through this>

Legend! I replaced the alternator only to find out it did not resolve the issue. I pulled away the plastic sheath only to find a broken cable. Soldered the lot and sealed it with heatshrink and it's all sorted. Thank you so much for showing this.

bro just use a spry for oven cleaning, let it sit and spry with pressure water it became like new whitout doing all this work and not achieved any way a good job

Check the single wires on the alternator to see if theey have snapped. Also check the wire to the oil pressure switch on top of the oil cooler. A faulty oil pressure switch can cause the oil light to flash too 🧐

Excellent work! I was actually doing exactly the same thing with mine with the exception of the hazard/heated screen buttons (I'll be copying you now though) and had a huge panic when I noticed the heater controls were different. Not so panicked anymore now I've watched this, twice. Just a question about the cables from the heater control unit... Did you just cut the loops off and bend 90 degrees at the cut point? It didn't require any more fiddling anywhere?

That's the cleanest wind screen surround I've ever seen on a t4. I've got a wind screen to replace but I need to do some repairs first😵‍💫

My T4 keeps breaking down, RAC recovery man told me he recovers more Vdubs than any other van, why does anyone spend so much time tarting them up?

Great videos. I have a rusty door seal "flange" but my track runner is fine. Would you mind showing the finished job, showing how you fitted a flange to attach the door seal please. Again, great videos, very inspiring.

I tried this the other day, but the bolt holding the rubber end to the van is completely seized. Tried everything to get it off!

I had to remove one today (T4 windscreen) on a customers ... I got it out eventually using semtex 'cos nothing normal would remove it.. Ok, not semtex, but it did look like I used it.. Came out in 20,000 pieces, after a long battle. New Screen please!! Not a hope in hell was it coming out in one piece & I have removed A LOT of windscreens over the years without ever, not ever, to date, having cracked one - the first time todays one cracked, I was gutted.. I promptly got over being gutted as the screen was a replacement someone had glued in using God knows what. By crack number 80, I no longer cared. BIN!!

Hi I had the same problem on my 1998 VW t4 a few years ago. I fitted a small bracket, that the white connect block can slot into. Keeps connecter and cables from moving around . And neat..

Great job, I have just bought a 1996 T4 Caravelle. Can I fit one of those volt indicators to my van? And I would like to change the steering wheel too, so can you recommend one? Or something similar to the one you have? Cheers

Bit confused why there ? as you drilling hole why not to by filling neck as then you can attach fuel feed without tank being removed
