I have ford focus 2012... Some times it's no reverse and some times working proper what can i do?

I have a 2012 Focus, and after I replaced the clutch myself. This was the second one I have done myself, so a littl ebit of experience doing it. When I put it back in, I get this slightly louder whine/roar when in either third or fourth gear. I beleive it's fourth though. Definitely no roar in second, and goes away in fifth and sixth. Any opinion about this would be appreciated. Thank you

my 2013 focus It hesitates and gears, and when I put it in reverse. Essay's carton not on parking well.Doing that procedure help it out

Very helpful. I smooshed the input sensor B wires and exposed the conductors trying to get the trans back in place. I found a replacement pigtail right away once you mentioned the ABS pigtail is the same.

I used the drill/pliers method on my 2017 mustang and was able to take it out! Thank's Ben!

You could always save yourself much money from rebuilding your own transmission. Tell me you don’t own a Ford? Lol

Well. Ok. I don't own a Focus, but I did recently Drive one as a Loner and MAN O MAN did it make a Groaning Noise? I don't have a clue what it was but it was BAD. Thank the Lord we Don't own one. Sounded like an Expensive Repair?? A Lot of Work to Replace a Bearing. Good Info BIG BEN.

I can’t believe there are so many parts in this transmission. What a major job. That’s why Coleman Taylor wants $4650 to rebuild it. A fully rebuilt trans is $3100. Who would spend that much on a 2010 Ford Fushion? Time to buy another used car! It’s a sorry trans built by Ford, that only lasted 150,000 miles. And the car was driven very easily. More people are buying foreign cars because they seem to be built better. What a major time consuming and costly transmission this is to rebuild.

How much do you charge to rebuild a trans, give or take estimated?

I saw some videos on cleaning the forks from the outside by moving the bolt counter clockwise..what happens if you turn the bolt clockwise?? I turned it by hand clockwise a few times now I don’t wanna start the car until i know I didn’t mess anything up??

Same symptoms here... 3rd 5th 7th. Looks like a specialty repair to me, I'm handy, but I can't get hold of the replacement parts necessary.

Turn off your vehicle's ignition and wait patiently for 5 to 10 seconds. Start the engine and allow it to idle for several seconds. Switch off the ignition and wait patiently for another 30 to 40 seconds. Repeat these steps 2 to 3 times in order to reset your vehicle's transmission control module.note I’m used my scanner for the process (snap-on)

Hey, love the video! I just replaced my valve body and now I only have neutral and park. Getting codes gear 1,3,6 ratio incorrect. Would this be from the Manual valve? I’m trying to do it with the transmission still in the car. Thank you!

I've been following your channel and appreciate all the great advice you share! I'm encountering an issue with my 2012 Ford Focus and could use some of your expertise. Recently, I changed my TCM and switched the positions of my actuators. Everything seemed fine initially, but now my car struggles to shift during certain gears. The code P0903 Clutch Actuator Circuit High came up, and I'm not sure what might be causing the issue. Given your experience with Ford Focus vehicles, do you have any suggestions or insights on what might be going wrong?

2013 Ford Fusion AWD approx 180k miles. If I caught the pump noise soon enough, can I get away with just replacing the pump? Or would you recommend a complete rebuild due to the miles.

Where would one get the service tool for the direct clutch. I have a 2013 Fusion with about 180k miles and I'm 95% sure my pump is failing/failed, sounds like a power steering pump low on fluid. If I'm in there replacing the pump, at 180k, I feel like it would be foolish to not do a full service. would you agree?

I’m searching for help. I just finished putting a 65,000 mile salvage transmission in a 2014 Ford escape. I have a rattle where the to torque converter and the flex plate is. Is it possible? The torque converter was not in all the way? I’m already pulling the starter back off to check. Any help appreciated, thank you.

Ive replaced the tcm and clutch with the forks. Still getting the p074b code. Getting the transmission malfunction service now message. Same as before i changed the tcm and clutch. Do you think this stuff will work in my situation. Car is fine at hwy speed just revs up like it missing a gear

This video is great and has deff pointed me in the right direction, I am hoping you might have some more advice for me. I had a P2835 code pop up yesterday(drove fine). then when I drove today no codes, went to drive home and it wouldn't engage into first(codes that poped up P2831, P2832, P2835, P287B). Finally got it into limp mode and was able to drive some where I could pull off somewhere better than the side of the highway. I cleaned the ground connections and reset transmission which got me out of limp mode and it drove fine but I am still having the same codes. Is this a TCM issue or is the shiftstop gonzo? Also I called ford and they said these codes are not part of the TCM recall so they cant guarantee they will be able to do the work under the warranty.

When the clutch is released, do both disks engage the pressure plates and lock? I can't spin mine unless I remove the inner shaft spline disk. I watched other videos with the clutch install and they spin freely with the clutch disk spinning too. I am not sure if the trans slipping into a gear or not while working on it, but if I remove the spline disk I can see the inner shaft rotate opposite of the clutch.

Look up transmission fluid issue.

So if I buy a touch screen radio from eBay that comes with the trim I no longer need an original receiver? My receiver went out and I want to put a touch screen in but don't know if I have to buy a new receiver as well as the touch screen and car trim as well. Any answer would be much appreciated. I own a 2012 ($2,500) and a 2014 Ford Focus ($3,300) with the 2.0 DuraTech automatic transmissions. Great cars at 35 MPG both with 200,000 miles. Also, a 1998 Ford F-150 Base model ($2,500) with the 4.6 2 valve, 170,000 miles. A think God helped me purchase these great vehicles with great engines. I always feel that $100 here and there is always better than a car payment 😀 Love the video s.

13 Ford Focus Se 155,000 miles. Transmission over heat error message and p0902 code. The transmission shudders and slips. It stays at 2k rpm.
